[Tsuboi-kun no Switch!] problem with game

alright for those of you who have played or are playing this game, does anyone know why there's no dialogue text in the game?
 
You have to set your Windows to Japanese, both region and language (AppLocal won't do)
Then the text is displayed just fine.
