A pair of fighting gloves? My dad noticed the scrapped skin on my knuckles ahaha :D He never saw my knuckles when was training on a compost bag.

I really can't remember most birthdays.... the day just doesn't seem very relevant to me anymore. There was one time I spent it mostly alone. No one knew it. I bought all my kyudou clubmates ice cream ;D I didn't tell them why... I guess they never figured it out ^^.

I had many times i got good presents from my father (Xbox 360, TV, etc)
but he don't really was warm to buy them to me fullly heart, it may sound selfish and will sound like i some spoiled little brat but even though i love these presents and appreciate them well, i more appreciate the ones that i got from my mother, she always give me stuff with surprise and full heart, she always was there for me when my father don't.

my father is really not warm and understanding person (i can say that he quite primitive unless it come to his work) ,you can say that i have one of these son and father complex (like in Evangelion xD) my parents are divorced btw... from the same reason xD

Ah I got the same prob but with different stuff. But lately I only received money for my bday so I can buy stuff myself.... But I don't really like my family as they choose the most boring place to go to "celebrate" my bday. Oh well the best thing is that they at least think about your bday :3 since my parents are divorced too (reason: money) and my dad sometimes remember but my mom always remember.
