What would you think if AS. would own a download-link?

I think at first that this should be valid for the first members. I could see from my perspective only benefits: As would the uploader and the same (almost) nothing to pay. ...

Any newcomer would start with 250 Kb / s. (The reason that the members should be a little more incentive to go with.)

Where to get more speed later so:

From level 10
+10%=275 Kb/s.

From level 20
+10%=303,5 Kb/s.

From level 30
+10%=332,75 Kb/s.

From level 40
+10%=366,02 Kb/s.

(...)

From level 100
+10%=648,43 Kb/s.​

More speed plus option:

For a month registered
+5% speed

For three months registered
+10% speed

For a year now registered
+15% speed

For more as a year
+20% speed​

Therefore, a system should be developed, where the system can access the data of the member's back. Determine that he can at what speed is one section....

Yes, but nowhere in this world will you find legal bandwidth for free. While it might save users from having to go through the hassle of downloading from free file-hosting sites, it would surely put a heavy strain on our pockets. The already high amount spent periodically for the costs of running the network would easily multiply and possibly also give birth to other smaller maintenance costs.

Not to mention that most uploaders might dislike having to upload their files onto our servers, as most free file-hosting services pay them for the traffic they generate through their uploads.

Lastly, there's always the copyright concerns. While we have a firm DMCA policy, linking to other sites hosting content and actually hosting content on our own servers are two very different things.

Not a bad idea, but unless we can raise about 20.000$/month minium, it's not going to work.

I'm telling you the truth that we are spending OVER (yes, no less than) 1000$/month out of the pocket, without ads or donation.

I'm also telling you this is the only large site that has no ads and/or donation. Enjoy while it lasts.

Then the second: I see it now, but you can not make a compromise? I mean, can keep the other links (RapidGator etc.), and this as a premium link for members.

Hmm i still think there would be random monetary problems :/ File sharing sites... Not sure if they would want to have any obvious contract with sharing sites...

It still has some cons (pretty much some of what I've said in my previous post), but having subscriptions is always an option to consider. Regardless, whether we'll have premium membership and/or other similar features involving utilising our own servers for providing content isn't a decision that can be made overnight and will require some thinking and overview.

Just like they had written, money is the real issue.

As much as the idea sounds pleasing, nanashi, Anime-Sharing is doing well enough as it is.
