Yes, Nyaa seems to be going on and off lately, yesterday it was down almost all day, today it managed to load and now it's down again. I hope it's just a temporary problem!

Yeah, it's good to have anirena as a backup, but it's not nearly as ordinated as nyaa and as you said less people use it so it has less stuff.

Kinda sad, considering that it was bigger than Nyaa once. I think Anirena is a senpai of sorts :D

So it's actually older? That would explain the interface, if they improved it a bit to make it more like nyaa i'm sureit would get much more users, the same for Tokyo Toshokan.
It's nice to know there is alternatives for torrent sharing though, i'll keep it in mind if i upload something!
Isn't there anything they can do against DDOS? some sites use a filter to make you wait 3 seconds when you connect to them.

It was more crowded back in the days, meanwhile Nyaatorrents was starting up. At least its the way I was seeing it
It also had darker theme, more stylish :)

KAT is also being/was DDoS'ed :(

Yes it was big a while back.. sorry that the DOS stuff continues. but nyaa will make it they are very dedicated and patient. just takes time...
