Could anyone help me figure out which manga I am remembering but forgetting the name of?
I read it, in English, new off the shelves at Barnes and Noble in 2006-2007, and only a few volumes had come out at that point.
It was an interesting story, about two men, the hero and his best friend/antagonist, who are fighting as fighter/mech pilots in a war of some kind between the moon and mars, I think it was, when a freak accident causes them both to be flung into a swords and politics fantasy world. They are enlisted by two opposite sides in an ongoing war between two brothers, the dark-haired, bearded rightful heir and eldest son, and his crafty/evil younger brother, a bearded blonde. They fight not only over the kingdom, but also for the love of a beautiful woman, who, though legally married to the younger brother after his usurpation, delights in dressing skimpy and giving him no action whatsoever because she loves the elder brother. At the last volume I read, the two original friends from mars meet up on opposite sides, and the one on the "good side" is hanging off a cliff while talking with the one on the "evil" side. That is all I can remember, unfortunately...I do not remember its publisher, but I do remember that I thought its artistic style was unusual for the "fantasy" genre.
If anyone could help figure out its name and such, I would appreciate it!
