On the bottom bar 'Thread Display Options is it possible to permanently save it to our preferences? And is it also possible to select multiple prefixes at once, like you normally do by holding down Ctrl key on other unrelated things?

Can't see the things that should be on the top bar mentioned there http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_usage#faq_vb3_thread_display and on the User CP there's only the Linear option on the 'Thread Display Mode', what am I missing?

The only mode work in AS is Linear Mode, which is what you see by default. Due to how we setup the user posting method, threaded mode won't work.

As for multiple prefixes, unfortunately you will have to use the advance search feature for that. You can hold ctrl and select multiple prefix in the advance search panel.
