    I guess some constant romaji or some words most anime use would be...

    kimi (formal) - you
    anata (formal and used to address the husband) - you (for the husband it'd be translated as dear)
    anta (informal) - you

    boku (males use this more especially when being formal and females use it sometimes) - I
    watashi (males use this for being polite and females commonly use it) - I
    atashi (shortened version of watashi) - I
    ore (males use it especially when they're comfortable around people so they don't use boku as much) - I
    ore-sama (for the pompous males or the males who believe they're the best) - I

    It's all right. I only started to learn Japanese just to read the VNs better. I'm not that good... just a novice myself, but if you want, try to familiarize yourself with this... http://www.animelab.com/anime.manga/dictionary/

    It's hiragana and katakana. It's good to start off with that.

    As for anime, I recognize some words when watching anime RAW because I constantly sing Japanese songs therefore I understand Japanese a bit better.

    Also, anime tends to have Engrish, so it's pretty easy to understand too.

    Lastly, if you familiarize yourself with romaji, the hiragana becomes easier and you can speak a bit better too.

    Inai means not here. It can be used for a person/thing/animal/etc. that is gone or missing.

    I teach myself Japanese. :p But I'm not good with it yet just good enough to watch some anime RAW or read simple hiragana.

    Also, BE A JUDGE IN THE CHOPSTICK TOURNAMENT! XD

    I'm still up because there's a family meeting around morning/afternoon. I can't sleep when something important happens.
