    Um...Coding is quit hard itself, so it is normal to understand why a lot of people do not like it, includes me too ! :p

    sorry for the late reply.. ~ been busy on school stuffs.
    i do like sketching faces or doodle whatever pops out in my mind interesting but not that great. most of the times i do reading ~ of books, comics, manga. etc. even instruction manuals which i do like as well
    for the genre~ as long its the rhythms and tunes are ear catchy, its fine with me. i don't stick to one genre. i do listen to classical, pop, rock and the listen goes on as long its somehow attractive to auditory senes.

    though in your opinion, your voice isn't that good for me and my friends its really that nice and powerful and they thought when you sang the korean cover, they thought it was sang by a korean native. ( i play your cover around them and they like it) its true practice makes you sharpen your skills and talents. ~ i m looking forward to listen to your new covers once they're done.. ~

    Is that so? I for one think that good entries being there can motivate them/give them ideas to make something better. I used to manage SOTW in another forum where they also had a section dedicated to SOTW discussions (users posting their draft, asking comments from others, etc). Which is what I had hoped when I decided to have a thread for entries and another for discussions.

    Though, I'm generally open for suggestions, so if you think hiding entries is better maybe you can bring this up to the others as well (feel free to make threads asking for opinions in staff section - that's what it's for!).

    As for an FB page, personally I don't use FB... try asking the others?

    You don't have to store their entries in the staff section if that's the case, you can just do so on your own machine; but what bothers me is the thought that it would be rude to the participants. Don't you think it's perfectly normal for them to display their masterpiece, their work of pride? Actually, I don't think I've asked why you want the entries to be hidden, so let me ask you now: why?

    Glad you like them ^^ Not that troublesome; but if we persist on using the old layout (which still has some difference with the current one) yes it will, considering we'll have to fix it every time we update vBulletin. True, CSS stuff.

    Well, you seem to have missed my point though - if the posts are sent to moderation queue and you stash them in the staff section, the section will look as good as dead with no entries. Personally I think it's better to keep the entries visible, because the hassle aside some users may actually want to put their best piece for display - which is perfectly normal and common.

    Ahhhh that, yeah I remember. iirc I wasn't there when the discussion took place. Well, it indeed is possible... if we get enough entries and enthusiasm that is ^^ Either way, we're here to provide support, not to manage everything entirely by ourselves - so draft your plans and appeal to us. ; )

    No prob. Yeah they (as in vB developers) made the new format really fugly and stupid. I was so persistent on staying with the old format, which Checkmate complied, but they seem to have rank tag and rep dots grouped together now... which is still weird and honestly not something I fancy. Well, blame vB - while it's not impossible to rearrange the format completely, it would pose quite some work if we had to do that every time vB launches an update.

    Hiding entry submission? Conceptually, new posts in the SOTM section can be set to always be sent to moderation queue... although that would equal them not showing at all. Can't seem to think of anything that would hide entries manually like that, and alternate ways I could think of would make the section look dead, which I know isn't something you'd like since you'd prefer it to always look active/lively to entice newcomers into joining too, right?

    Also, what proposal stuff?
