    Oh, in the case of the Pokemon thread, yes. There's already a poll, so you can't add another. That's why I used another thread for the example in the screenshot.

    I'm not sure if you can do this (or it needs moderator/administrator privileges), but if you want to edit an existing poll, try clicking the pen icon next to the poll's title (see my mouse pointer):

    Eh, well, you could add options for starters from all other generations as well, if you want. Or just Kanto and Gen VI. It's your thread -- your choice.

    Also, I'm not 100% sure how the permissions are set, but maybe you can use the "thread tools" option (should be found above the first post in a page of a thread) to edit the options as well without needing administrative privileges?
