there are two special editions of the game, one with the figure, one without. Seems like you don't get the 2nd one... tried looking on the nintendo site for that?

Oh, I alreadt finished bravely default. It's EPIC, one of the best RPGs of the last few years. My tip for you - always do the side quests. ALWAYS. Even if you don't want to. They are worth it, every single time. The collectors edition is nice, only the figure wasn't... that great.
A friend of mine, a games journalist, already tested lightning returns and said its system and idea is a lot like valkyrie profile. not sure what to think about that...

The Vita is region free. However, I would have to reset my Vita each time I want to switch between North America PSN and Japan PSN. Lazy, but too much trouble. :P

It's my fault for waiting forever to get started on the game in the first place.
The DLCs are not too expensive, so technically I could buy a DLC with the funding I got with SMT IV/Fire Emblem bundle. We'll see. :)
I'm also getting FFX/FFX-2 HD on the Vita. I have another Vita to get access to the Japanese PSN, and thought about downloading the game. But decided I would rather get the game in English. :D
Are you thinking of getting Bravely Default for the 3DS? I think Langesha already played Japanese version, and said it was good.
I did find the DLC maps, but all my choices are to buy a map...none of them are free. :(
