Nice, then maybe if I need to know some details about history you won't mind me asking ?
You see a lot of roman influence in modern society don't you ?
Favorite, it's like one of those question I love being asked and think about, but have a huge problem coming up with an answer :o
Note I haven't really seen that many yet. And I could classify differently depending if I was going to judge by "best" anime from a critic/objective viewpoint and personal favorite. I'm assuming when most ppl ask that they mean the latter. Elfen lied, Death Note comes to mind, also Code Geass and Mirai Nikki, but all I say is a bit biased for the simple fact I haven't really "been around" enough to broaden my view an opinion yet.
Some I have expectations for and want to see for a while is "Deadman Wonderland" and "Another" But I'm actually delying my anime watching as much as possible while I learn japanese, since I wanna be better at that first, and "get maximal enjoyment out of watching it"
I'm pretty sure I got a thing for old school cyberpunk stuff. With it's classical rawness and shock factor. Where Gits 1995 movie fits in. Though not all that raw or anything, it is inthe genre and the atmosphere. I think Akira is as well even though I haven't watched it...late 80's awesome cool vision of the future or something along those lines. They just have this feel to them. And the creators not wearing any silk glowes and having to hold back. Not sure how else to put it.
