  • Very well, I'll be in your care, senpai~!
I... I understand that feel though. I kinda dreaded the day I stopped being a teen too. orz

True, true. Just like how friends and teachers can define the value of school for you, co-workers and superiors are critical to the enjoyment of your work. It's good that you've found a nice place for yourself~

What?! Shame on you! Go download NAU! So we can have more... umm... download stats to boast. Nah, kidding. But yeah, I used to hunt for music in the wild myself, until everything's made easy for me, hehe.

Oh, I know that game. Some of my classmates in my Japanese course use that as a dictionary. I suppose it's more convenient than a normal electronic dictionary as the stylus also makes it easy to draw kanji you don't know. And I totally understand not knowing where to start... that's often the problem with autodidacts. Also, how about trying raw manga -- all the text is there and it doesn't rush you like raw animu. Shounen ones have furigana too.

I know right?! Especially if it's like a girl with long hair posing by swinging her head. Which is, sadly, the kind of image I usually like the most.

I'm pretty sure Izumi isn't the only one; there was another I heard of but I forgot. I've got some friends who are rather knowledgeable about those dresses, though, so I sometimes get linked, lulz. I was thinking of procuring that dress for my sister too :o Hope your girl likes the dress though!

Ah, yeah, sometimes it looks like he has a few templates for the faces, like some for the "cute" types and some for the "sexy" types. But yeah, doesn't make his stuff any less good; I particularly like the way he draws the bodies -- so proportional~

Mhm, I know of that thread and I get what you're asking. It's not possible for members, but I could lend my magic and smuggle in a ninja post below the first post that you can then edit and add your new renders. Want me to do it right away?
No problem unown-san, let's spent your time for your main work, when it done, let me know. The time is not problem with me :)
Hello unownHGSS, I am going to make a signature for myself. Could you help me? I see many signatures you made, and love it ^^
Haidere. It's cool, it's cool. It hasn't been that long either.

Wait, what? You're 21? Well, well... apparently we're of the same age. But you finished one year earlier! And yeah, I'd like to think I'm still young too.

I wholeheartedly agree. Sadly, though, it's not always a viable practice in all kinds of work environments. The often-too-serious feel is one of the things that make me loathe working in a cubicle-style office.

I do listen to anime songs regularly. Without ASL, though, I might not even bother looking at them, haha. I just love how pretty much the group serves me music on a proverbial silver plate <3 And I can understand the frustration. If you're dedicated, it's perhaps a good idea to start learning. A translation can take up to 2 years, and if you study regularly, you should be able to at least grasp the basic dialogues with little problem during the time period.

Well, big is one thing. Complex is another. Most images I've rendered are (of course) moe girls, and often, their hair can be a MASSIVE annoyance to render. All those thin, smooth hair strands. That's why I stopped rendering for the sake of rendering and usually render only the necessary parts now.

Izumi Tsubasu, huh? Nice choice! She's got a really nice fashion taste. Ever seen a dress she designed? (A friend remarked that most illustrators would be extraordinary fashion designers if they would start. I completely agree.)
Hahaha, yeah, T2's stuff is awesome. It looks pretty realistic and not totally moeblob, but very very attractive nonetheless. What I showed are mostly the more famous ones; Kishida Mel drew Atelier Rorona/Totori/Meruru and Kamisama no Memochou while Tsunako drew Hyperdimension Neptunia and Date-A-Live.
hmmmmmm. i will regret if not buy your heart.. :XD:ahahahaha... ok2...i'll think about it again.... thx unown... its my 1st time buying figure.. so.. yea... if its cheaper than that... i would buy it instantly.. ahahaha
    mmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

its hard unoo.. u know its rather expensive.. and i dont care 1/8 scake,, and i prefer not to big too...
the most part is the price.. why they put such high price,,, T__T

yea.. when first i see it.. its like love in the first sight... :ohnoes: :deadsad:
Last one was just as long. :P
    If not a little longer
But I have an idea to speak it up ^.^
Not yet.... but it should end soon.
Remind me to never host again!
It takes up tooo much time :P
    Who wouldn't watch it! :D
    Thank you for informing me.
Sorry about the delay, my response time to messages have been lackluster lately
Well, at least you're through it! Also, one year ago, huh? I thought you were, like, much older. Tehee.

Why yes I am! Though, in all honesty, I can totally understand the temptation to shove your workload onto others. Especially when you hold a rather high position and can leave the more mundane tasks to the proleta... um... interns. But you seem to be blessed with a nice, trust-based team in which everyone is comfortable with trusting others with proportional workload. Not being bossed over is also a big yay.

I suppose I'm just not weeaboo enough! But really, even when I was still watching them, I never watched that many. I started watching animu rather constantly in around 2006, I think. Now, though, I get my dose of digital entertainment from other stuff. Games, mostly. Music and games are the only Japanese things I truly like; the rest not so much unfortunately.

No problem, I'm always glad to talk about artists (especially those I like, of course). I've rendered some too, but either just enough for whatever I want to use the artwork for (siggy etc) or stopped midway. Yeah, I'm lazy, orz. As about other artists, yes, I do! In fact, many enough to make me not remember some of them.

Here are some I can remember on top of my head: Aka Ringo (Pixiv / samples), Kishida Mel (Pixiv / samples), Nagi Ryou (Pixiv / samples), Tsunako (Pixiv / samples), and many more among the not-so-well-known ones (eroge artists, etc).
Well I guess it's because of this "set" thing there is only one character w

Though not as good as the first one, good job
How to say this.. I did say I don't like plainness, but I also don't like too much images in a single sig XD
and the lower ones look a bit the same (I know the left one is from the anime), difference is it's just zoomed in w
Well I will say it in the PM but anyway

It's actually 3 but I haven't rendered a single thing for the 3rd one so I will hold back on that one (reason will be in PM)
    It was originally 2
Yeah, I usually just refer to it as thesis when asked. But here, "thesis" actually is the official term for research paper master's degree students need to write to graduate (I'm still a bachelor student). And yes, it's a lot of work, orz.

Ahh, teamwork. It's amazing when you have good teammates, but a nightmare when you have bad ones. But wait, if you shove your workload onto them and they don't mind it, you may be the bad teammate in the team!

Yes, that's Kurimu. ikr, the original illustration is much better. The full image is here. And I didn't watch the second season either. I pretty much had already stopped watching animu when it aired. The first season was quite enjoyable, though.

As about the artist, she's called Inugami Kira (狗神煌), and here's some more of her artwork if you're curious.
    Haidere, unown~

Been okay, been okay. Just that, well, I'm taking care of my paper/thesis/treatise whatever you call the research paper a student needs to write to graduate. How about you?

It's Sakurano Kurimu from Seitokai no Ichizon. Ever read or watched it? This pic is by the original illustrator, Inugami Kira, so it may look quite different from the anime. I'm not particularly fond of the character, but more like the illustrator herself <3

    Bye~
    :shockmenft: i...i...it...its n.n...not li.like o..open t..that site... forr... th..thaat..... :sowwy:

    BakaaAaaaaaaaaa......... :runaway:
haha that's what i do with this guy named juan at work XD i can understand sometimes, because the menu is filled with spanish words, but all the other parts is difficult lol

it's amazing they won't. they rewatch other shows like Supernatural, Doctor Who, or Being Human millions of times, and those are all long lasting series', with 40-60 minute episodes, and they won't watch anime
