YES!! My favorite faction! Finally it is here. No need to introduce this. This is the Rebuild of Evangelion but for the Koihime Musou franchise. Reinvented and Redone. Each faction has now its own game. This is my favorite one.

It has plenty scattered among many characters as a result important ones have one or two scenes with some even sharing events. It doesn't help some die in this faction as well. There are plenty of dialogued events, thats nice but at the same time its just recycled of old scenes except with the new characters.

I see, that's kinda sad that they didn't rectify the dying plot points for this story. It does however, show an episode 2 for Kazuto's travels with Kada and Himiko's party if you clear the main story once (it's another extra route that happens behind the scenes of Kakumei's events AFAIK).

What's next is the final route the Shoku route for Liu Bei/Ryuubi and co. This is the Unification route according to the previous game so it should be the best where everybody lives. Unfortunately, I have little hope of it being long. I wish they'd extend this last coming game's story as in the original Koihime this Kakumei is based on, the Shoku route has a ton of exposition that we don't get to see "in action". Just a bunch of text info in one screen. Provided it is the canon ending that leads to Moeshoden, and the last game of the Kakumei trilogy, they should be making that one go end with a bang.

Unfortunately again, the only long route in the original was Gi/Cao Cao's faction route and the amount of Keifa H-scenes really bogged that route down for me. They also didn't expand on Kazuto's feat there (he was able to exchange a single blow against Lu Bu equally but it's never ever mentioned or hinted afterwards in terms of character growth). Fandiscs would probably not come out any time soon, but I do wish they give Sengoku Koihime X a good lengthy sequel.

Kazuto saving girls from dying in other faction always bugged me that in this never happened in fact they added another death one even. The ending with his daughters was always cute, they remade that adding more with the new heroines in the final picture. Its something the other faction do not have no matter how much sex they have with him they seem infertile lel (ignoring Cao cao fandisc where it does happen with one)

Personally i wanted Kazuto to save Meirin, Sheren and Yenren, and that instead of dying they were just put on the sidelines and watched as the story progressed into the 'Koihime Eiyuutan' story line.

I was disappointed that Yenren couldnt be saved, but really happy that Meirin and Sheren had a route where they lived and had children.
i would of appreciated it more if it was the "true route", which it might be since you have to finish the game first to unlock it, even if only for its respected VN.
Also having the other heroines having children in the same scene would of made it better and more of a true route for me, But at least there is mention that Kazuto has more "work to do" with them in the same scene but adding all the children together would of been ideal. It can at least be a true route in my 'reality'.

I also wanted much more Yenren scenes and having her have a kid as well. I liked her a lot more than i thought i would and she's a lot more nice than i thought she'd be with her reputation.


For me, the overall true route of Koihime in it's entirety is Kazutos travels with Kada and Himiko's party. It made me happy and laugh with how they saved Sheren from her poison arrow, and how she still cozy's up to Kazuto warmed my heart. What i don't get is how Yenren survived and became part of the story, but its still nice to know they are both alive in the overall true route.

Also, Can someone explain what the purpose of Kazuto travelling with Kada and Himiko's party is? the reason i think its the real true route is that by saving Sheren and confirming Yenrens alive, along with Sheren feeling that she knows she'll meet Kazuto again, is that this route is setting up for a moeshoden route where no one fights and Kazuto makes all the women become his harem.
But what is the actual point of the journey besides that? why do Kada and Himiko need Kazuto for? and whats with the dragons? that all i dont understand.

Also what and who is the append DLC about? does anyone know yet?
