Anyone had any luck hooking this VN?
ITHVNR detects threads but no dialogue and VNR cant even attach to it
 
I am currently using VNR, so i can give some input. First you can try out the 3 detecting options first (windows, process, application) and see if any of them can hook to the game. If all 3 of those failed then you can make sure that Detect Running Game option is enabled, then launch the game directly, VNR should automatically see and hook to it. As for the text itself, there is currently no reliable hook thread from what i have seen. The EmbeddedMono engine fails to detect many parts of the game, while monoPoko is garbled, jumbled (and sometimes even mixed up) text. The best option you can use right now is the mono_string_to_utf8 engine with "Keep all text threads from the selected dialogue engine" enabled. This also have some downsides as in you will see things like num=X t= before all the sentences (and a few alphabetical characters in the middle if the hooked text is more than one line). If you can ignore a few out of place characters among the dialogues then this is perfectly serviceable. I had tried to create a Regex expression to remove those parts but for some reason VNR is not applying it. Hopefully there will be a H-Code coming soon.
 
I install game, and click harapoko.exp. But only black screen. Can't play game.

VNR managed to attach itself despite me doing nothing differently however for some reason most of the text settings are locked in read only mode which allows me to change the text encoding but not be able to save the setting, in addition the other text options are not even appearing.

Removed and re-added the VN to VNR and it is now allowing me to select those settings and its hooking but like you said, it hooks everything. I will see how it goes if it becomes to annoying ill have to add this title to the growing list of VN's that awaiting H-codes. Fingers crossed is dosnt stay in that pile for too long.

Meant for ITH 2.3 with "Auto suppress repetition" option enabled because this H-code hooks every line twice and this can confuse other text hookers such as ITHVNR and ITH 3.0.
Can be used with Translation Aggregator's "Internal hook" and "AGTH" hook modes, but hooking via AGTH needs /KF16 option (and /PNharapoko.exe if AGTH is started separately).

Since the trial version of Milkypoko's upcoming game is using exactly the same version of Unity (5.6.6) and mono.dll as this one, it's highly likely that this H-code will work there too. It works with the trial, at least.
 
Textractor can also Hook this game however the number of threads it picks up is pretty crazy so much so the it can sometimes cause the game to stop responding.
You will have to sort through the threads to find the right ones

Revised version (no repetitions). This also works with the next game from Milky Poko released today, just change exe name in the H-code accordingly.
