Just install the game. Like that. It works even in UTF-8.

Got the same problem installed it many times over, but clicking the .exe does nothing... tried installing it in different places, different ways but always the same it gets installed without problem but doesn't run when pressing .exe .

It took me forever but I found out how to fix it!
After installing the game, go to the game folder and delete configure.cfg. Then you should be able to run the .exe normally. Hopefully this works for you too
