ANybody got the same problem? When I try the demo, i didn't have this proble.

found the problem, it looks like the dev change something in retail release.
I managed to fix this by replacing globalgamemanagers file in Customcute data folder with the one from the demo

this only happens when i play it in a laptop with lowend graphic card. when i play on the laptop which has better card, i don't have this issue. not sure how to fix it though.

Can somebody tell me how to get this game to work? When I start it up normally or with Locale Emulator, I get a black screen and then the logo for the game and then another black screen. Do I need to update something or how do I get it to work?

That's not it. I already do have it set to Japanese, yet I've got the exact same black screen problem as other users.

mine causes an error to pop-up
"Failed to load PlayerSettings (internal index #0).
Most likely data file is corrupted, or built with mismatching
editor and platform support versions."

EDIT: i downloaded the trial's previous version, DL'ed the new one on their site and it's ok now

Okay, if anyone still needs this, I found the solution for the black screen, you need to install the game in a proper directory name, such as the default one, no matter what drive it will go to.
After changing the installation directory I no longer run into the black screen issue.
