hey guys, i have a small problem, i have installed the game and activated the nodvd patch but the game seems to crash each time it reaches the title screen. Can anybody help me? I have changed the system locale and format to both japan and its still not working. Thanks in advance :)

I don't suppose you found a solution?

The game won't work at all on a 64 bit OS- I tried installing on a 32 bit OS and came up with the same issue.

install the game first, then put the reg and exe soukan where you install the game, doble click on reg and play the game ^.^

It's seem that it fixed the crash problem, but it back to the crack problem, and noCD path didn't work with the fixed soukan_fix.exe.
Attract file is what i get when double click the reg.exe.

Please help.

Guess we have the same problem.
That message in your attracted is what i get after the message in my attracted if i double clicked the fixed soukan.exe, then when clicked ok, the message in my attracted apear again.
Unless a crack for the fixed soukan.exe, then we stuck here i guess.

i didn't have any problems at all, i didn't install the crack that came with it, after i install the game i overwrite it with the soukan fix and doble click reg those two need to be where you install the game. i left the iso game mount in daemon tools and that it. i played the game in windows 7, if you put compatibility the game would give you a black screen so don't put it on.

The fix that osaku put works. Just run it in the folder where you install the game. Some games have dummy files that when they get cut the game gets unstable. In the case of this game the dummy cut version the exe file doesn't play well with the crack so the game crashes.

To fix the installation problem is very easy: (Attention: don't install noDVD patch)

- First, install the game. Make sure you have virtual cd drive program installed.
- Download soukan_fix.exe from link above or get it from BlackRainbow Official's Site
- Mount dummy iso to the virtual cd drive.
- Run soukan_fix.exe and extract the content to game installation folder.
- Run reg.exe (disable your antivirus first).
- Finish. Now you can run the game via soukan.exe

I have Windows 7 with the system locale changed to Japanese and I've downloaded this game, as well as the soukan.fix.exe from the Black Rainbow website. I've installed the game with Daemon Tools and also added the new files within the fix into the folder where it's installed. However, when I launch the game and start a route, the game remains black. I click the mouse button and although the dialogue window shows up, nothing else happens: no picture, no sound, no words, etc. Please help!

I see from posts that one has to disable their anti-virus and run reg.exe before playing the game. But it appears as a file that Windows cannot open. What should I do? Also what is the purpose of the "boot.iso"? Isn't running the "soukan.iso" enough to install the game? All I see in the "boot.iso" is "DUMMY.BIN". What is this?

The "soukan.exe" itself is also being opened automatically as "administrator". Is that important/does that matter?

Never mind. I managed to get it running. Turns out it doesn't run properly when the program is run as an administrator. When I moved the entire game folder from my C: drive to the desktop and the exe file automatically became "normal" again, it ran smoothly. Thanks for the game!

I'm having the same issue when I tried to run the game. From what I gathered using google translate, "認証ファイルに異常があります" means that "there is a problem with the authentication file". Changing install location or trying to run the fix didn't do much either.

My best guess is that there are compatibility issues with the newer versions of Windows and DirectX (based on their support page), or maybe there's some data that was lost in the dummycut. Anyway, I think I'll leave it alone for now since I'm out of ideas.

I am having the same problem with file missing. Dummy iso mounted, noDVD patch not used, currently in win 10 also downloaded the soukan_fix from the website. The only thing is reg.exe doesn't do anything. Other than that, I don't know what I can do. Any help?
