I am having problem installing the game..

I am using Windows 7, Japanese-locale, Japanese display language, Japan Time zone, Japan formula but still unable to get pass the "This is for Japan only" message.

Tried copy and paste into harddisk and run with no-dvd on, it prompt use setup from DVD..

Any tip or help in getting this working?

Ok the way i see it this game is a headache to set up. After spending several hours and final getting it to work I still couldn't use AGTH with it and ITH only gives parts of the text.

P.S. For those that want to know how i got it to run, It involved having to install
Windows XP Japanese version "<-- very important must be JP version or it wont work"
on Virtualbox then installing the DirectX optional files.

At this point you can install the game itself the game should install fine.
After that you have to install Atlas translator into the Windows XP as-well as AGTH and/or ITH.

Once you do all that the game should run. HOWEVER and this is where I got stuck, while the game runs you cant hook AGTH on to it because as soon as you do it throws some sort of error something about the Alpha Activation or something "the error is in Japanese so a cant read it",

And hooking via ITH only half works because ITH can't extract all the text so you end up with gibberish.
I think this could be solved if we had a /H code for the game.

I got the bulk of the files from some other torrent that was well seeded, yet still can't get past the japan only message. I've tried using a NoRegion Loader but it didn't seem to help (including running as admin). Serial works if you copy over the files yourself from the dvd rather than running setup but it seems to need a registry setting thats set up during the set-up for it actually play. Anyone have any idea what the reg setting is, or has someone been able to get the setup to actually work?

i wasn't able to install it even with literally everything in japanese(format, unicode, region), and even the freaking time zone set to japan(i have windows 7 ultimate), sigh... i miss hongfire, we would have better luck getting some help there.

hi guys, I was able to install it on an english xp. I used a "working" ntlea (used 0.86, 0.87 did not work for me) to launch the setup from the dvd. After install, launch the signup and run execle.exe which activates it though you will get an error of failed activation or non-japanese os. While that error is still up, use ntlea on mpe.exe which launches the game. From the next time, launch execle.exe wait for the error, and same as before, use ntlea on mpe.exe while the error is on the screen.

To check if you have a working ntlea, copy the setup program to your computer and run it with ntlea, if it fails, it will create a log of what failed during the check in the same directory. If it doesn't it will launch the setup.

Fyi, the software checks the file dltmpe.ini in your <user>\Application Data\ folder for installation info.

Here is the ntlea that works for me.
Btw, ntlea only modifies the values for rsysUILID and ruseUILID to 1041
If the log outputted from the setup shows 1041 for those, it is working.
For the others, you have to set the timezone, everything in Regional and Language options to Japan/Japanese, and for the language bar's default input language to Japanese.

2. run update 1.2 to update the game.

in order to hook agth in this game you have to use /pn option

hey I appreciate all your help and everybody else here. I still can't get the game running after the installing the game though. It still asks for serial code, and I'm no computer geek, so I can only do what I was told. I did all the patches that was said, and run excel.exe, but serial code..

anybody have any idea how to get through? what am I missing here? (by the way I'm using window 7.)
