Chaos Labyrinth is an old-school dungeon crawler, which also means that it’s a grindfest. The monsters are actually girls from your school and defeating them (and having sex with them) reveals their past. You need to defeat the same girl many times in order to temporarily turn her back to normal, although that requires you to return to the start point and lose all skills you had accrued to that point. Most Debonosuu games(and some later Studio ego! ones) require you to have date and time format in JP, change it under Control Panel/Region & Language/Format. Do that, and it works fine with ITH 2.3.

Although if someone could tell me how to get past that berserk in the arena, it would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks for the game. As expected from the company. Quite complicated and hard game. Too few hints to get you to the destination. Not to mention, quite limited supplies ( though, only useful in boss fight).
rcoltsaaeln, as for berserk, u only evade her for now. after you get to higher level and better weapons, you can 2 shots her.

EDIT: Currently stuck at the stony labyrinth where you can see succubus and angel(???) and also pearl girl (??). anyone cleared beyond that place?

For some reason, my installation halts at the last moment, during the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 section. It calls out error, then practically freezes the entire process. Anybody have the same issues and, hopefully, anybody know how to fix it?

There is a trapdoor at the northeast of the room, you need to take a reroute to evade her and head straight to the trapdoor.
I would recommend you go to the south-> south east -> north. Should be able to evade her with this.

You can't evade in the first time, you have to lose first, then the ghost appears, and then the ghost will help you open up a secret passage to the second stage(and you should grind there until about level 20, then go defeat the dryad first to clear the way to the third stage and grind until level 23, and then defeat the one in arena with lightning spell)

I seem to be having an issue with some of the text. I've run into the issue before with a few other games, and I'm not quite sure how to fix it. I have both my location and unicode settings to Japan already, in case that is usually the problem.

*EDIT: The Date/Time setting that was mentioned earlier fixed this. Read through it too quickly the first time. What a strange fix.*

Also, I can't seem to put the game into fullscreen mode. Whenever I make the attempt, it brings me back into windowed mode and gives me a Yes or No question. Clicking 'Yes' keeps me in windowed mode, and clicking 'No' shuts the game down.

I don't know about the second problem but the first can be fixed by hooking the game with ITH. It won't display properly in game but it &will* display properly on ITH.

Thank you for providing a much more detailed explanation.Not sure about the compulsory losing though. If I recalled mine correctly, I died a few times before I reached berserker and the ghost guide shown herself earlier and she shown me one the first trial.

Well, either way also need you to die. XD

Shortly after you light that first candle (within 20 steps) you'll come across another trap door in the floor with a long hallway beyond it. You need to fire another fireball down that hallway to close that trap door.

hmm kinda stuck now ... cant seem to get the sword at the 2nd floor upper right ... not sure how to make the warp point disappear. Also what causes the option to bring the girl back to the room? amount of time defeated?

Also about the plant enemy at the garden where they cant be damaged, how do i kill her? and how do i get pass the tree blockade ...

For your first question, the way to disable the warp is under the trapdoor. For your second question, you should figure it out yourself since it is rather easy. anyway, I hope girlcelly will post the cg set soon.

After the first dark area and going down the stairs, there should be a second dark area where the bat will chase you into the lighted area. She gives you darkvision, use it in the first dark area.

Does anybody know if there is a level cap? My player can't seem to go above lv 35 but monsters are stronger than that.

Also, was anybody able to solve this puzzle? I can't seem to get past this teleport dust or disable it.

Unsure on level cap but at that puzzle the mummy that spawns in that area, Get them too chase you onto the traphole and pull the lever.

I tried pulling the mummy before. But i guess i was not smart enough in my previous attempts. I used to open the trap floor too soon.
-Keep the trap door closed
-The mummy always appear one space between you and her.
-After you position yourself in front of the switch, and she is one space behind the trap floor.
-Use magic/skill into space so you waste one turn and she gets closer to you and right on top of the trap floor.
-Flip the switch.

How about this door? Were you able to open it? I tried all my keys and even all my skills. None of them opened it.

Edit: I also was get to the point of the blue and yellow crystal. But i am unable to take them with me. Anybody knows the reason why?

You can open that door with the arena bosses strength skill, activate it then click the door and it should open.
