If you have a character stand next to them a new command will be available which opens the chest.

Edit: Hmm you're right, sorry.

well for some chest yes that one worked but for other chest like the one in free quest 3 with 2 unguarded chest and 1 guarded chest no new command appear .....

You got to bring the guy with guitar to open chests =-=;;;;

use char with "open" command, rick[male char with yellow color] have it

NOTE : your main char in tutorial[lv60] have open command, but after downgraded to lvl1 he lost it.

Equip Melpas (the bird bind) to Emily and have her roam around the maps opening chests. Her high defense+Melpas's status boost (move+1 and open chest) will fare you well. FYI there's a hidden chest in Mari battle (the red ponytail girl), behind a tree. Mari hits hard so get Emily to open the chest

Anybody knows how to increase the binding ranks? It looks like that if i dont increase the binding rank i cant bind monsters of higher ranks than E.
