Wonder what will be instore 2014 when Windows XP support ends... Going to be so many Windows Vista/7/8HELP threads.

All games that have been released lately work fine in Win7, so I assume is the same for Vista.

Please provide specific instructions for runnin' the game.
For me, crack doesn't work (win7 x64)
1. Running patched monhaz.exe doesn't work - no game window, nothing happens after starting the exe
2. Running AlphaROMdiE.exe monhaz.exe shortcut - the same as above
3. Running AlphaROMdiE.exe launcher.exe - game window appears and requests a game dvdrom (with both patched and unpatched monhaz.exe and mounted/unmounted iso)

Same thing happens for me in Win7 x64. Changing locale in Regional Settings doesn't seem to work either.

set AlphaROMdiE.exe to run in administrator mode. drag and drop launcher into the interface. Click yes for both. Game should start.

In the end, nothing worked, even my notebook with japanese win7 couldn't start the game...
So I had to make a crack, using crack from MP2 and making similar changes, thanks to whoever cracked that game in the first place

the game works thanks to AndyScull but right at the beginning of the game, the ui works but i cannot go further in the story. there is no more text and character graphics freeze kinda. any idea how to fix this?

I had the same problem as AndyScull, and his crack he just posted worked great. Thanks for modding that crack. :)

an error occurs in a particular part of the game(H scene in river). and the program is terminated.
reinstalled it Again and again. nothing did not get better

i did the same thing as you did. I dont know why AlphaROMdiE didnt work for me,
therefore i tried using the crack from MP2. Because the game was made by the same company, i thought the crack should work for some reasons. and i was surprised that this way did work.....

By the way, i'm wondering that why AlphaROMdiE cant work for me in Win7 64bit environment?
Dose that mean that i need do something else differently first before executing the crack?

Im having the same problem as davidch . The game keeps getting terminated at the h-scene by the river after the slug h-scene . is there a fix for this ?

Which means you haven't cracked it yet.

I have the same problem with the river scene. None of the patches work for me (The one with Taiji symbol and the one exe file start the game, but crash there). The official web says some problems with Windows7 64 bits but Ｉ couldn't test the official patch because it overwrites the patch.

So you can go through the river scene (after rescuing the thing with long nose)? I always crash there with an empty error box so Ｉ don't even know what's the problem.

...Ugh...been trying to figure out all the issues and no matter what I do, it keeps failing. Well in truth I can access through to the title screen, but once start the game, no text, words, anything occur, just like a few of you guys who have this same issue. Even andyscull link was no help and still same effect. Yes I have my local to Japanese. Tho during the words...there was name to "HHH" and just blank nothing from there. Along with that, it too freeze from part of the beginning. I know this might be many problems, using Window 7 x64 by the way.
