Assuming you're already familiar with how to connect ITH and TA:
1. Start the game.
2. Start ITH and TA.
3. Do not select anything in the game. In other words, you can set the options/settings you'd like but make sure you go back to the menu.
4. Enter "/HSN-4@41D07D" in the ITH bar right above the drop-down menu. Type it in or copy-paste without the quotation marks.
5. Press 'Enter' to input the code you put.
6. Start the game and wait for the first line of the dialogue to appear (like in most games it's usually, 'My name is so and so').
7. Open the drop-down menu and you should see userhook or something similar amongst the addresses found.
8. Select it.
9. You may now proceed with the game.
Please understand the some games that require hcodes would need different hcodes for each updated version. One example is Eiyuu Senki. The game requires a different hcode for version 1.05 and 1.06. So it goes with other versions. Some hcodes even have the name of the game's exe as part of the code itself. Thankfully, you can find the specific codes in the agth forums, courtesy of a well-executed Google search.
