A little heads up for anyone crashing on the title screen, but doesn't wish to use the format change trick; you can use Locale Emulator (compiled binaries here) to deal with the problem. It's an alternative to good ol' AppLocale, but also fixes games with garbled text problems, like Ecchi Kara Koi wo Hiite mo, Tomodachi ni Sae Narenai. and Tsuboi-kun no Switch!.

@damegane: well to your surprise, i AM using Locale Emulator, since my hf applocale broke after i installed win 8.1. but the problem persisted.

I got the same problem as you when i execute the game or play the game, so i tested what people told here:

It works for me:

- Japanese region settings.
- Executing with Locale Emulator.

I tested again only with locale emulator and works fine :)

I found the solution for Windows 7 and Windows 8.

First, if you install to any other directory outside of C:\, you're going to have a problem when it attempts to load the .dll files

Second, make sure you also install the direct x that comes with the game.

Finally, use the locale emulator linked in this thread.

I did what you told me checked where it is installed i ran the Disc and installed DirectX

ran it with the emulater as admin as not admin still didnt work T.T wondering if someone could translate the Error message aswell :S
