Not sure what error you've been encountering since your attachments' got eaten by the system, but make sure you've installed the required versions of DirectX and VC++ Runtime that come with the game disc (the autorun program should have buttons for their setup programs).

Also, to display texts properly, you need to set your Windows Language --> Format to Japanese, or use Locale Emulator and set it to run the game with the "fake UI language" option enabled and set as Japanese.

I'm not sure because I just picked default settings when installing since I can't read Japanese. I do recall it installing VC++ 2008 and DirectX I think the error is saying it can't open file RIO something or another...Like I said can't read Japanese so it's only a guess.

EDIT: I figured it out. It was that I didn't have some of the older version of DirectX files apparently
