I originally downloaded a different version of this. It ran without a hitch, except when I started a new game. This version here asks me to download something in order to play it?

I solved that problem by download demo version from SLAVEnir Homepage.
Click [体験版をダウンロード] banner for download demo version.
Copy full version [Ayaturareru_Data] folder & Paste it to demo version [Ayaturareru_Data] folder, overwrite all files.
Then run demo version [Ayaturareru.exe].
It will work properly.

Then run demo version [Ayaturareru.exe].
It will work properly.

Did exactly that, and the game now behaves how it did with the other version I downloaded. I get into the main menu, start new game and then I get no text box, just the background and character outline.

I think, getting just character outline at starting, the game works alright.
Progress little further, you can see a normal character, not just outlines.
But it is strange that the text box doesn't appear. I don't know how to solve the text box problem.

I also was thinking that the outline is actually a part of the game. Clicking the log I see that the text does indeed go as I'm clicking, so maybe I could just use the hook to grab it?

Trying that out now, hooking works. I'm still bothered by the lack of the text box though.

Are you on Win10? Locale set to Japanese? Running the game from system hard drive/partition or some other?

Yes for the first and second questions. The game isn't in my system partition but I don't think it's related.

This method is the only way I could even get ITHVNR to see the process and hook it. Did anyone figure out the text box issue? I'm also having the problem of lines appearing in different threads rather than all in the same one. Does this need an H code? I can work with not having the text box if I know I'm seeing every line in ITHVNR.

It's been a few years, but did anyone solve the text problem? I downloaded the demo from the DLsite and that trick got the game running, but the text box issue is really bugging me.
