Actually, 1.05 and its crack works fine with Append vol.5 so no need to update to 1.06

I can't seem to get 1.05 patch and the crack to work. If I boot it up, the game immediately crashes and I have no clue as to why.

Patch 1.05 seems to make my game crash and when I revert, the game opens up to a scene with Aiko and is just stuck there making me reinstall the whole game.

Does anyone have possible solutions to get 1.05 to work?

Sounds like you're missing DirectX 9. Get it from Microsoft's site: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
