Having the same issue here. ntleas and locale emulator fixes the wonki text, but VNR isn't finding the text correctly :(

It does not fix it for me. I use locale emulator to start the game but still get these random characters in the text. Am I doing something wrong?

What you need to do is go into the directory you installed the game to and find the .exe. Right click on it, go to Locale Emulator, and choose Modify Application Profile. In the window that comes up, check the box that says Fake System UI Language. Click save. Now when you start the game through LE, the text won't be gibberish anymore.

Another note, if you use VNR and LE, and start the game through its dashboard, you have to start and close the game once or twice after the above steps before it takes affect for good.

Just use /HS-C@24E5:元ヤン奥さんとギャル娘ちゃん～菜緒さんは硬派な元ヤン妻♪～.exe the original name for the .exe and it works

so is there a patch or something to fix the wording in the games? i tried downloading local emulator but it didnt work, and now that sugoivisualnovels has released an english patch, i really want to fix the issue, but even the english patch dont solve the randomness of the words
