At first start the game does a simple disk check, make sure to keep the game's image mounted when you launch it and choose yes (はい), left option I think. Subsequent starts don't require it anymore.

BTW the game is still slightly buggy as you could crash in Yuu's route probably something to do with the E-mote animation not being detected

update: just DL the update from Marmalade's website I think the one we got here is "broken" or incomplete it will install but I think its lacking some more data
Update2: ok anyone using text hookers please post if you are experiencing crashing in terms of CPU and ELS memory errors, I think there is something with the hooking programs we use that the engine used by Marmalade hates

No unlockables but they are a central part of the confession scene, in Mai's case at least.

Not only that but I noticed a few lines missing their voice track, as well as the usual misspells, wrong kanjis and just plain missing words. Nothing major but the game does still need a patch or two. I wish you could set up the emote's level of jiggling like in the later xCation games, it's grossly exaggerated for the chest area...

how important are the letter scans? think of it as the old way of DRM back in the 80s they are like "immersive" feelies all heroines have 1 letter in the game box that you need to open when said heroine confesses

ok anyone keeping tabs with Marmalade should know they will be making a major patch to the game I hope this will rectify the earlier crashing issues but since I'm already done with this game I can't verify much what issues they will fix to the base game. but this major patch will contain
1. capability to chose costume and hair style of your main menu waifu
2. being able to save on the map selection screen (not exactly needed but QoL is still QoL)
3. a "fuck it" button for your gallery basically all unlock
4. all scene skip (CIRCUS like) pressing it will put you to the nearest available selection screen
5. your main menu waifu will now use the system calendar to say lines related to those dates
