I had the same issue as you. But had manage to installed it fine though I faced another issue where I cannot load the game - perhaps the drm protection. Thus waiting for the patch or whichever.

You need to shorten/rename the folder that you had extracted the zip file in order for the system to install proper. The full title [200529][1085121][ILLUSION] ハニーセレクト2 リビドー DL版 (files) is somehow causing the error.

For people getting an endless white screen after clicking on HoneySelect2.exe, make sure you right click it and click "Run as administrator". This fixed the white screen bug for me.

No. Just right click HoneySelect2.exe, click on "Run as administrator" and that's it. This fixed it for me and a bunch of peoples. It has nothing to do with the performance.

I have a different problem I think. Installed the game fine. Started the game. Busty waitress fades in very slowly. After that some talking and after selecting the top option, scene changes to bedroom, some more talking, screen goes white and infinite loading... Tried both torrent versions in suspecting that one of the versions may be broken but same result with both. I am trying to run the game on a gaming laptop running 8GB VRAM GTX1070 coupled with an i7, so it can't be a performance issue. Tried running the game with apploc and/or as admin, still got the same result. Main game folder is set as "HS2", so long folder name also is not the issue!

This is the first time that I am facing this problem with any game. Could this be DRM problem? Any ideas?

game works fine for me until the h scenes, then I get a white screen, the UI is still there and i can click on it fine to change poses outfits etc but I can't see or hear anything.

It helped me only to see the menu ))) After starting new game it just shows white screen ))

It installed fine with the MSI file but at startup (even running with the built-in Admin account) I only got the crappy WHITE SREEEN OF DEATH.

I've tried everything mentioned here (performance/run as admin) and nothing worked.
Then I recall that Illusion always has includes an annoying Windows regional check.

So I double checked and I've set my region to JP but my timezone was *NOT*.

So I uninstalled again, made sure to set my region to JP *AND* time zone to JP.
Installed fine and Ran as Admin and then the game finally started.

The strange thing was after it ran once, I could set the time zone back to my regular time zone and the game would still run. Perhaps it just does a one-time check at launch???
