SUMMARY

Rin Asogi is an immortal private detective with a thirst for vodka and a talent for attracting things that go bump in the night. I have downloaded the files... Episode 1 Part 1 twice... and it keeps display the message files corrupted.
So I wanna know are the files all okay?
[a-s] sub is one of the best sub I've seen so far & I pretty much hope to get it especially for this OVA

Yea... I downloaded both of the split archive... example.. for just Episode 1... I downloaded both part 1 & part 2. But the same problem persisted as corrupted file message occured in Part 1 when I wanna unrar for the episode. I have tried 3 of the hosting sites and same problem too. That's why I'm wondering is it me or the file problem? O.o

Just tried one of the hosts at random and it works fine here.
Specific unpackers can cause problems, so what program are you using to extract the archives?
Also keep in mind that the error message you receive could be misleading (again, they change based on what unpacker you're utilizing) - the filenames for this release are quite long, so if you extract in a nested directory, you may run out of characters for the path. Try extracting in your harddisk's root.

Heya... the problems still persisted. I seriously don't know what happened. Is it possible to be downloaded via torrent? I'm having end of road solutions for this. The CRC failed. Even I used the 7z program also said the file is broken =X. Please help =X:(

I just tested the other host, and again without errors. At this point the only thing I can think of is some obscure issue between your ISP and the filehosts.

At this point there are a couple things to try, but none of them are optimal:

1. I could repack this with a recovery record so archives can be repaired.
2. Likewise, I can create recovery volumes for the same purpose.
3. You could try using something like JDownloader.
4. You could get it from their XDCC bot (throttled to 80kB/s).

That would only make you use the error correction the CRC sums in rar provide. Meaning you could get a damaged file but would only notice when playing. Generally less than desirable.

Ellloo... I'm afraid I bring bad news. Despite all of ur efforts, the problem remains the same. It's still corrupted & there's no way to recover it. However, thanks for everything. Could you extract the 100MB parts? If you could, then the archives are fine and something else is the problem - I still suspect the path to run out of characters.

I did watever I could. I tested it, I extracted every of the 100mb files. But in the end... it's still the same. It's not the path run out of characters as I tried everything that I know. I'm not sure what it the problem. What I'm sure about is the part 1 Episode 1 surely got problem. Fyi, the error message remains the same. That's y sometimes I prefer torrent. hmmm.... :(

If the 100MB parts extract, the archive's fine and something is strange with your system. Don't ask me what though, as I've run out of ideas. :(
Maybe try forcing it to ignore CRC errors and then check if the file's CRC matches the official one.
