I am not sure that is what he means, sure the MC can "win" but even in the best case scenario he is screwed 1 way or another.
Yeah, that's what I meant. I don't like when it's pretty obvious which choice is the "right" one and which is the "netorare" one.
I've already played it (one of my favourite RPG-maker NTR games), as well as all Blue series, though in later I've skipped large amount of plot, can't remember if ntred guy get his revenge in it. There was indeed good endings, but without revenge to girl or bad guys. I love it when girl punished for cheating, not only ntr-guy. But this is very rare, almost always even if guy get his revenge it is only on "bad guy". And in https://vndb.org/v8012 parents of the girl forced her to ask forgiveness and MC destroyed her financially.
In one of the endings guy ended up in relationship with dragon-girl, this can be considered as a good ending without being screwed.

I actually enjoy those kind of NTR as well where the bad guy gets shredded in the end. So I guess there are different kind of NTR fans.

It's been a little while! Man, I went through what felt like a hundred pages to catch up.
I hope everyone is hanging in there. Over the course of like a thousand replies is sounded like many of you were sad, depressed, or overly concerned with the state of your own asshole at different times there. There's a light at the end of the tunnel! If you're lucky it won't even be from an oncoming train announcing your own imminent death. Things aren't ever as bad as they seem.
Just got word that the new Anim game failed to make to to my place because the Kuroneko guys are trolls and think it's funny to try to deliver shit when people are at work. Whenever I have it in-hand and am both home and sober I'll see if I can't post some pictures of the swag for you guys.
Loner, I was sorry to hear about your efforts on the Marina game. I know all too well what it's like to have a project sniped; it hurts like an over-eager girl with braces. I hope you and your team don't think the effort was completely wasted, even if it feels like it at the moment. I'd like to think you'll hang on to the script so you can compare your work to the official release. Maybe you'll find some places you guys can improve on and some others where you're more proud of your own interpretation?
Now I'm definitely not the intended target audience for something like this, but I have to say I was surprised and annoyed that they chose to freely use the term 'cuckold' if for no other reason than the interweb has completely ruined that word and any meaning it ever had. I can't take it seriously.
Reading 'Marina's Cuckolding Report' in English makes my upper lip curl in such distaste that usually only seeing a grown man wearing socks with sandals or someone ordering a steak well-done can manage. If its use ever catches on in the Japanese scene, you guys will prolly have to take me out back of the barn and put me out of my misery.

Ahaha, I laughed more than I should have. Thanks for the kind words man. Right now I am riling up the team to get back into the game. Hopefully they will start work on something new soon. I am already working separately on something else, though it isn't NTR. Still it's an interesting project and will help with my Japanese learning skills so I am gonna keep myself busy until the group comes around. As for the Marina scripts, it is easier said than done. I mean I got angry for a split second to delete my scripts but I couldn't. I worked hard alongside the team and you just aren't able to drown your hard work just like that. As for the term "cuckold", I couldn't agree more. It is ridiculous and I thought their previous NTR title "Please bang my wife" was bad. Like they are making a slapstick comedy NTR game that needs a witty title. I can't help but state that MangaGamer's naming sense is really bad on occasions. I do hope the term doesn't pick up in Japan either and I highly doubt it will. As I said before in one of previous posts, cuckoldry and netorare are two different things in Japan as for them cheating comes in multiple forms and cuckoldry doesn't really definte them all. It just won't click easily.
