Guys, what about waffle's game? Anyone tried it? Any info?

The game has already been released in Japan for sale, though they're making a spinoff about it for next month. I pressume those who can purchase the game will wait for the spinoff to be released to bring the full package.

On my phone and it's hell to try to quote everyone properly, but thanks to all those writing about the other recent releases. Like many others, I'm very interested in all the news from this windfall and grateful to all those posting info! Having like 6(?) NTR-related games all drop around the same time is prerty crazy.

It doesn't sound too much like my thing from the reports, but I will probably pick up the Venus game at some point for the scenes if nothing else just because it's reasonably priced. Bummer about the lack of mystery, though.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them hacks, but I don't rate Atelier Sakura all that highly. I honestly think they got lucky with Mariko and Marina, and I don't think their usual fare is all that better than Miel-tier. Which is fine, but I feel like they keep raising their price point for games and they want more than they're worth. Fortunately, they are one of the greediest NTR-related developers, so I know I'll eventually get it on the cheap or in a bundle.

As for the Waffle game, I'm in a conundrum. I'm interested in the game, but they're just charging way too fucking much for it without me being sure of the quality. I will rarely go over ¥3000 for a game and I usually only go over ¥5000 for a handful of companies that I know what to expect from and know that they will deliver (Alicesoft, Anim, Conplets, whatever those Bastards that used to be Black Rainbow are calling themselves this month). You can already get the digital version, so I'm hoping it'll be pirated soon and you guys can let me know if it's worth it. They've already made a package deal, so you can get it digitally with the spinoff included for a slight discount and then download that when it releases next month. If nothing is forthcoming, I might just buy the spinoff and then use that as a gauge for interest since it's much cheaper.

By the way, has anything heard much about the new Poison game? If memory serves, they also have some sort of DRM that needs to be cracked? I remember some fuss about their last game.

You forgot jinsei, i would also say Lilith but since they stoped paying attention to anything but that stupid card game i feel betrayed........I AM STILL WAITING FOR ASAGI ZERO AND THE NEXT KANGOKU SENKAN!

Fanbro, you wound me! I didn't forget Jinsei! They just don't try to charge me ¥7000 for their games and that's what I was referring to; those four companies are the only ones in my book that have a pedigree good enough for me to spend over ¥5000 on just off their name. I really like Lilith but I wouldn't break the above rule for them. Lilith is like the Square-Enix of porn, they had a string of great titles back in the day and now just coast of their name and decent titles with the occasional gem thrown in.

There is a mystery in venus, but yea its lacking, i think it mostly half way through? the usual nipple poking out of the wife's shirt, wife just got out of bath in the middle of the night thingie, the standard fare for venus, but yea its definitely lacking, most of it i think due to the random perspective shifts throughout the game (they just shuffle through wife's pov, husband's pov and sometimes the antagonist pov). But I still enjoyed it more than atelier sakura's shiori netorase, that one left a bit of bad taste in my brain.

waffle.. eh, i really dig their kyonyuu fantasy series, but their attempt at ntr(more of swapping/netorase though) is not that good, seeing that its out on torrent now.. lets see if its that good or not, and seeing they already planned a spin-off.. is interesting.

In my mind, so far the only big companies that has not let me down in NTR department is anim and alicesoft to some degree. smaller ones are Venus and Jinsei, more towards venus though as I enjoyed their game more than jinsei's.

the ones that has fallen from grace imo are lilith's and lune team bitter, i didnt really enjoy their latest games for some reason.

Yeah, sorry, didn't mean to imply there wasn't any, just with the perspective switch as explained, I was figuring it couldn't be that rewarding. I don't really self-insert, and as the player you *know* the partner is up to no good, but I think you lose a lot of the magic if you have one person's pov thinking someone is acting odd and then you switch perspectives and see the actual scene play out right away. Not saying that's how the Venus games does it this time, but other games have done it that way.

The Anim game does mystery pretty well in all the routes I've played so far. I want to check out these other games, but that's going to be reliant on whether my dick falls off or mutinies after all the recent abuse I'm putting it though. >.>

actually.. i have just found out, for the latest waffle game, visual novel reader embedded hooker can capture the text properly without h-code, captured all the text properly for me now.

On the torrent scene? I don't know. But legit it was released 3 days ago and my Japanese friends who bought it weren't really impressed. Game is simply put, old product new packaging and funny enough the new packaging is inferior compared to old. I mean ask yourself, what NTR hits the hardest? A married couple or some high school kiddy coupling?
As someone said, Team NTR got lucky with a few titles and they proved that it was luck because they learnt nothing from their success.
