Ayumi Hamasaki is what skyrocketed my interest to keep being updated in music.

Downloaded any song she released and tried to purchase her albums.

Her older songs are highly recommended since it showcases her modest in yet strong passion.

She sings well now, but those older songs are too good to ignore... at least to me.

Some might not like her voice or composition.

I find her endearing at times and her lyrics 'speak' to me. lol

hmm...it definitely wasn't Mobile Suit Gundam since I've seen it before. The animation was much better than that of Gundam in its early years as far as I can remember. Not sure if it was a mecha on Toonami or not as I remember the mascot but the channel happened to be in French.
