As the chains crumbled the warriors leapt at the dark lords and the mages unleashed their prepared spells~ All refreshed from the time of rest~ The boy retreated further back to protect the girl until she finished her incantation~ Destroying the shadows that drew near~

43437 The light from her spell was like as bright as the sun, but it didn't hurt the eyes. At least not of humans. The warm light washed away all the dark energy that took control of the beasts as well as blinded dark lords for a few seconds.~

43439 The earth took in the light and started glowing with the energy absorbed~ The dark creatures disappeared one by one and the seven dark lords stood in a circle before starting a chant of their own~ A foul aura leaking from the ground to weaken the effects of the light~

43439 But the forces of this world weren't going let them finish. Mages quickly began to cast offensive spells and warriors were already attacking demon lords. The girl, tired from casting such a powerful spell was recovering at the back of the army with a boy.~

43441 A small orb sitting in the girl's hands~ Growing smaller with the moment~ A negative premonition from the boy as the dark lords slowly moved towards the mirror in the middle while continuing their chant... The aura growing stronger and dark light pouring from the tunnels... Seeming to carve a design in the ground as the remaining tunnels crumbled in... A sudden realization that the battlefield was over a huge spell circle carved into the ground...

43442 The earth fallen in tunnels under the battlefield were soaked with blood of who fought and died here. Both sides understood that the spell circle was now almost complete. What was left was only the incantation the dark lords were casting. Now all of allied forces and the reinforcements who just got here were all rushing at dark lords destroying every new beast coming at them from the mirrors. The pair stopped their rest and was now attacking them as well. But the formation of dark lords was almost perfect. They stood in a heptagram-like formation with 3 of them making a barrier around them and the remaining 4 of them casting their big scale magic.~

43444 The girl and boy poured their energy into the orb in a final attempt and it morphed with spikes constantly extending from the surface... An unstable creation but one which may blow away the dark lords~ Small glowing rings surrounding it as they chanted a synchronized spell to unleash its power~ A shock wave tearing across the field as a large blade formed~ Chains as a counter weight across the back~

43445 Time to add some spice...

After staying in air for a few seconds. The giant blade flew at dark lords at amazing speed breaking the chains holding it. The 4 of the dark lords who saw this understood that they could not finish the spell and jumped out of the barrier. The blade broke through the barrier like a knife would pierce a piece of butter. 3 of the dark lords escaped the blade, 1 couldn't escape because of the bad position he was standing in and 3 others underestimated the power of blade. And so, 4 dark lords were cruelly slashed by the flying sword. But as the allies let out a sort of a victory cry, the sky suddenly turned bloody red and got forcefully torn into two creating a hole between the worlds. From there entered...~

43446 Six dark lords to send the blade away from the injured~ A smile on their faces as a large serpent burst from the abyss~ They calmly continued their spell but with changes to the words~ Sword returning to the hands of the pair to reform with their energy... Still unstable as little pieces broke over time... A horrified face on the boy as he saw the serpent... The one which had killed his family and sent him tumbling into the depths of the abyss... One of the guardian creatures of the abyss...

43447 I planned for a bit other... Oh, I see... so that's the plan... How many dark lords are on the battlefield altogether btw?

The people could not help but fall in despair at that sight. There were still six of those powerful enemies as well as a giant serpent. A that time, a sound of the horn was heard. The main reinforcements from the other worlds have finally arrived at the battlefield.~

43448 Theres seven dark lords but one is injured and probably wont be doing too much...

The serpent diving into the ground... bursting from beneath reinforcements and targeting their powerful... The seven lords finished their spell and it was as if it had become night... without any star except the dim glow from the sun... Seven mirrors now poured dark creatures out and any joy they found at reinforcements arriving quickly became despair and fear...

43449 So they survived... Okay... I kind of was led to think that 6 new dark lords appeared...

But the reinforcement wasn't just some quickly assembled army of all who could fight. The greatest demon hunters who travel through worlds were among them as well. Many kinds of mages, healers, warriors and even beast tamers were there. Leading the reinforcements was Mavis, who wasn't at the battlefield before as he was carrying out the ritual. He ordered the army who was fighting before to fall back and healers to help them rest. He then ordered the remaining army to press forward. The armies clashed yet again. And the blood spilling battle resumed.~

The mages created lights in the darkness so that they may see and the circle was quickly covered to prevent further use from the dark lord...
