Anyways, I personally think it is pretty funny, and actually contains a lot of useful information in a fun format. My comparison is also maybe a little harsh for you, since other than say the first three episodes, I thought SAO was pretty much garbage (which was really a shame since it started with a great premise). Terrible plot, their characters turned into generic blobs, villains sucked, etc. I haven't read the LN though, so maybe that is vastly better than the anime?

If you want to read something where the main character is actually 'smart' for a change, then maybe give HPMOR a go. Otherwise pass it on by~

78916... It's your opinion, since we all have different one, but in my opinion I really liked SAO and it was quite popular from so I was told because you're the only one that I know who's been denying that.
