That happens to me alot as well, when I bring up that I enjoy learning about history. People also seem to think that since I study military history that i'm joining the Marines or something . Its kind of funny, also, why did you make history your major?

Well when I growing up my dad was in the Army, so we lived overseas a lot, especially in Germany, so we visited England, France, Italy, Austria so many different places and I fell in love with them and that's really what got me started in history. My older brother graduated college with a history degree as well. I'm glad you think it's important as well. Would American history be your main focus?

Most likely American history would be my focus, I would like to do something with military history but i don't know what I could do.What did you find so interesting about the countries you lived in,that made you interested in history as a whole?
