Just wondering why some people would regret something, while others who did the same wouldn't regret it.
Like for ex, if you went to jail for X years for upload/downloading something, would you regret everything related to that? orrr there was just one thing you said to someone, and wish you could take it back. or Wish you made a different impression on other people and kept in line with who you wanted to be. Regret can be powerful either in a good or bad way, we might not even think about what we regret or just not acting on it. Even if we can't go to the source, we could still act on a new resolve, and be that example instead.
sooo for this topic, think of something you regret and what you can do for the better~ or think of something you probably should regret and how changing that could be important to your would-be life :3
Another interesting thing to think about is to wonder why some people don't regret something that others would. What do you think makes them different? Is there a special way to heal from regrets, or something like that?
I regret nothing!
Not even the stupid amount of money spent on korean mmo accounts.
That money well spent. Like the money i wasted on swords and anime figurines.
I always wondered back in HF whether you have licence to wield those weapons or whether it is allowed in your respective area. I'm pretty sure we're not even allowed to carry a machete for dense forest areas unless the individual can prove it use is legitimate. Even then, the machete can be confiscated until the papers are done at the station to retrieve it back.
According to the law its illegal to carry any kind of weapon imaginable. Then again, the regulation its flexible and depends on the context.
At least when it comes to bladed weapons. Guns are another story altogether.
Basically they care about the purpose of carrying it around. In the worst case they may
take it away from you and leave it at that.
Since i am a martial artist I'm supposed to be carrying swords around so... unless i made a fool of myself swinging
the katana around downtown its not like anyone would ask me anything.
Then again, if you happen to come across some policeman lacking common sense I don't doubt that the swords
would be confiscated in the spot and eventually destroyed without me being able to do anything.
Ah okay. I didn't know you were a Martial Artist that wields Kanata, so I was curious for quite some time. Thanks for being open about the talk in regards to wielding Katana and having them as your personal possession.
I would agree on the point about the laws being flexible in regards how it is put into context. Which consents with the current status that martial artists, military personnel and other occupations that requires them to carry a weapon of some sort. Whether it's illegal or not, depends on the country like every other around the world.
But yeah, rarely you'll find a policemen who would lack common sense. Especially after all the training they should of received in terms of laws and other materials related to those situations. I haven't seen any that has destroyed weapons that was confiscated. On the other hand, this is slightly off-topic, I have heard people cars being crushed for not-so-legal modifications in my country.
I used to trust in the police, but when i was a kid they took me in, just because i was walking NEAR a public demostration. There were some guys fighting the cops, throwing stuff and all... since i had nothing to do with it, i did not care, and did not ran away from the place... So when the guys came in my direction, the cops grabbed anyone they could even those who had nothing to do with the whole thing. So regardless of my protests they took me to the station and did not release me until hours later when my mum came from her job to get me.
Cops are retarded bullies. Period. -_-u If you feel like it, you can find an almost infinite number of videos of cops being total arseholes.
So much for believing on their good judgment.
Yeah, I know what you mean by that. Even though they have training and so forth. It doesn't change the fact that people are people and some individuals are more likely to do a bad job than good when it comes down to their personal interests. I have no idea why would arrest a kid who happens to be near a protest. But that's just some really bad experience you have there.
Personally, I don't have much faith in police in my country. I rather label them as peacekeepers of the government or self interest. Whether that is true, is another matter. For some reason I contradicted myself but I'll be honest, I have a lot of contradiction in my thoughts about each thing in life.
In the end, there should be commonsense but I feel that's a very vague word in itself. Hmm... a better word would be responsible thinking and processing. No doubt the police who took you to the station may not have it. Don't know how they treat kids when they hold them but I agree you can find plenty of bad videos about them really...
