I'm not entirely sure this is where it would be best to post this inquiry, but here goes.
Every Eushully game I play (Himegari, Kamidori, etc) the game will work perfectly fine until I get into a map and when I step on anything (treasure icon, recovery feather, mob) the game will momentarily freeze then unfreeze. Unfortunately, despite unfreezing I cannot click on anything at all. I can still use key commands like ESC to return to the title or exit, but I cannot continue the game. Now, the only exception to this rule is the portals that allow you to withdraw those work fine. It seems anything that has a pop-up or "more advanced" animation it breaks.

OS - Windows 7 ultimate
Graphics card - Vapor-x r9 290 4gb
Processor - AMD fx 8350
RAM - 2 x 4gb G.SKILL ripjaw
This break actually happened on my kamidori save and to troubleshoot I downloaded himegari dungeon w/e and it still happens. It doesn't appear to be an issue of installation.
