Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area!

If anyone needs an answer to Android vs iOS, this is the only answer that's needed.

I've used both Android and iOS, both have their pros and cons, but if we boil just down to region lock then technically iOS is as well, but can be overcome whereas Android cannot (as far as I know). I used to enjoy using Android more but nowadays the UI is messy and overcrowded for no reason, I can't say which one is better than the other anymore, but if I have to buy a device I would still pick android because of the fact that they're generally much cheaper and generally allow the usage of an external storage upgrade.

I switched to Android (OnePlus 3T) earlier this year from an iPhone 5 and I'm liking it a hell lot more than the iOS...

There's some really basic things on the iOS that I hated both functionally (no, I don't want nor need to sign into iTunes right now so stop asking me damnit, and what do you mean I can't lower the volume of my bluetooth earphones when the lowest setting is already deafing?!) and appearance-wise (who in god's name thought that frosting the dock would look good, and provide no option to turn it off...) and, things being the iOS, it was impossible to get around (and since FGO locked out Jailbreak, that's a no go).

Then there's the fact that, while it's easy to bypass region apps in iTunes, buying stuff with credit cards has a hard region lock (you need an actual Japanese credit card w/ a Japanese billing address) making it a pain to buy stuff.
Also, Android has QooApp, which is a good enough workaround the region lock if you just want to play a few popular games like FGO.

Basically, I've discovered that I fall into that 1% of users that Apple says FU to for the sake of appealing to the remaining 99% (and things being Apple, providing absolutely no leeway in customization etc.), and there's not really any way I can go with iOS and do all the stuff I want easily/cheaply.

But enough about that. NeroFest! This year's a Box Gacha with Skill Gems, so I am going to loop the hell out of this.

Hell yeah ! I can't loot secret gem of sword for my Kiara last skill.

I'm wondering if I should go for this gatcha. Nero is OK but rumor said that Semiramis will come shortly and she look lovely (I didn't have watch Apocrypha yet).

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

We do have potentially more sabers coming with 1.5c3 so unless you really waifu brunhilde or nero there is probably no point rolling.

I am just happily chewing apples and cracking open boxes.

Just because they're going to be swordmasters doesn't mean they'll be Sabers...
Because that's how Fate has been since the beginning *stares at Archer class*

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

I want to roll for Nero because she is my favorite* servant ever since I played the Extra series but I am at my gacha diet.

*(She has a very special place since My waifu is Penthesilea)

I got the CE in the petals thing in my second roll; just like my luck in KanColle, it turns on during the times I do not want it.

P.S. That CE made my servants OP though.

I don't like this event. The exibition quest are way too hard to even wanting to try it.

Those quests are only there for people looking for a challenge (and have correspondingly raised their Servants appropriately) and those that'd like to see how some characters would fight as with some of their original skills. If you haven't raised your Servants, particularly very specific Servants to counter each boss, then there's no much you can do.

However, the main draw here is farming Petals for the Box Gacha as this is by far the most AP and time efficient way to farm QP, EXP, Skill Gems, Mats, and FP all at once.

They are actually pretty easy for even f2p players, if you can read jp dengeki online had articles in 2016 on all of them with reasonable compositions to do with. The amount of tools we've gotten over the year has only made it easier.

I don't really see why people keep perpetuating the idea that these quests are for people looking for a challenge only when you can cheese so many by just having useful low rarity servants leveled, not even skilled.

I certainly hope that the effort of cracking 5 boxes to deco a tokkou ce isn't too much.

Yeah I resigned to that idea on an acc that really needed some useful sabers and died spectacularly for saber class gacha, one can hope.

That's what I'm doing. I already have reset one time the lottery because I got everything. But since we didn't get any golden ticket from the summer 2017 event I was hoping the golden ticket for this one wouldn't be that hard to get. It was very nice to give all those ticket for the anniversary but if it's for not giving them for two event I find it pointless.

I can't read it. I can more or less understand speaking in Japanese but I can't read anything. English isn't my first language either by the way (maybe my writing made that obvious).

I will try some exibition quest but I don't expect much.

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

I am pretty sure the fgo subreddit also had a bunch of stuff from last year and probably ongoing for helping people get past challenges, so try that too. If you really can't find anything I'll probably just look for the articles and link them anyway since you can guess a bunch just with comp screenshots.

For starters though, just by having the tokkou CE you have a decent shot at some of the quests. If you have someone with Holmes on your friendlist, you can beat Siegfried with the def ignore buff from his np pretty easily. 50k is pretty easy to chip through with static damage up CEs/divinity/buster ups assuming you can deal with the np spamming. Hassans are cheesable by Amakusa np dispelling buff (Jack or Melt or Medea work too, although the latter two you have to somehow not kill Hassan with np damage) or by stalling and gutsing your way through, if you have Irisviel from f/z event you can get through that pretty easily too.

Oh right, if you have decently leveled friends, Gil can basically be solo'd by a decently high skill level Scathach or Enkidu w/ event CE and Herc is relatively easy to cheese with guts/dodge spam. Don't forget that even if you can't continue with command seals, you can still np or heal with a replenishable resource.

I have done Siegfried and Gil following your tips. It was very helpfull.

I will try the rest. Heracles and Medb seems doable but the rest will be hard but I have time.

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

Holmes cheese works on Medb too apparently, have an assassin and dispel up to the point of the np that you are using and Holmes her lol.

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

So I have been baited to rejoin this game after a 2 year hiatus after the 2 initial months of release.

Looking for kind souls to carry me and provide me some tips due to the sheer length of blank I have from game.

I have nothing to be proud of, thanks.

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

Okita pickup is on now. The gacha diet is proving to be a hard thing to do.

They're really spamming us with as much bait as possible right before some big one, I can smell it, maybe Semiramis that everyone wanted for so long?

they just gave us 13 quartz......it's difficult not to roll.

Also, Any tips on getting a ton of petals? It seems that I can not get much petals even in the highest difficulty.

Trade in the shop CEs, pray for more CE drops, keep appling.

Start NA or buy some stone account on Taobao, wait for your waifu, roll waifu. NA's first freebie servant isn't till Halloween so you won't be missing much, while stone accounts on jp should still be going for pretty cheap for quite a lot of rolls. Unless you have something against rerolling or actually ended up with a significant amount of stones on the old acc it is worth considering.

I already have 3 of the Petals drop, gaining me about 70 - 100 per battle. Is there a way to go beyond that?

I am doing full drop CEs so average around 150 a run on the petal only one, not much more you can do to increase that except to get even more CE drops to deco the ces with. If you are ok with decreasing drop efficiency for time efficiency then I think JP heavy farmers are doing some 3~4 drop CE only thing to make 3 turn farming to maximize on time. Assuming that then you can start decoing CEs at 6 or 7 total count and just keep chewing apples. I am getting cockblocked by ce drops atm so just making the most of every run.

Re: Fate/Grand Order Master Training Area! ネロ祭再び ~2017 Autumn~

I realized that there is one more petal ce in the shop. I will get that and run 4 petal ce. I still have a lot of apples to keep me going for days.

I am only at my 6th run at the petal gacha while some people are at 200.
