And dad would throw the garbage all across the floor
As we would lay and learn what each other's bodies were for

And this is the room one afternoon I knew I could love you
And from above you how I sank into your soul
Into that secret place where no one dares to go

And your mom would drink until she was no longer speaking
And dad would dream of all the different ways to die
Each one a little more than he could dare to try

Yes, I was thinking about such a competition.

After much contemplation, I shall open a poem competition around the springtime, preferably March or April. It'll open after my drawing contest for this coming winter has been completed.

Considerate though thou appear to be,
within my sight, everything is agony,
with delicious perplexity on top,
something unanswerable chop-chop.

Words, thou call those,
which, to me, appear as foes,
erecting barriers sturdy as steel,
before which earth-bound mortals kneel.

"Nay, this world isn't all gloom!
A path of thorns represents more than doom,
as sweet glory awaits the triumphant,
so erase from your memory the word 'reluctant'."

"What is this agony you bespeak?"
Ah, but only the most prominent mystique,
which to most would be a fiesta,
but, to me, a dilemma.

Yea, thy words carry a venom,
whose subtleness causes numbing seldom,
but warmth, they never run out of,
making it a chore to fully return the love.

Alas, words fail me,
a befitting appreciation, I still can't give thee,
for long though I have rambled,
I still can't make thee equally enchanted!

But I wouldn't worry,
as I'm fully confident, without insecurity,
that thou will bestow upon me words to ascertain,
that my effort was never in vain.

As the sun rose~

[MENTION=26445]Ralium[/MENTION]; That "poem" was really romantic in it's own dark way. Those two who were loving each other even though all the trouble with girl's parents. Normal romantic poems bore me anyway :P.
