The girl Sakura and him fought off the enemies’ attacks together and then helped out a girl who was being chased by the state army. As he was about to depart the virtual world, he remarked to Sakura that he could not remember his own name. Coming to in the real world, he found himself in a foreign room. He soon met Sakura again. She belonged to the Squall team of the Fenrir mercenary unit and this was their base. Is this the queen bee boss fight? Just try to avoid getting hit and keep killing the drones with guns like the handgun. Preserve your hp. Eventually she'll run out of the grid beam types and will be easier to get close to. She'll still throw out the green ones though. Try to corner her and hit her with a quick melee combo like a four-hit straight arm, etc. from the side. Remember to dash.

Katana really, really, REALLY sucks. It must be put in 'Stop Attack' slots if you even want to hit the final blow properly, and most of the time you just do little to no damage.

Actually the point of katana is the short dash to get you to point blank range and slightly longer reach. It can clear multiple weak targets in a group, like a cluster of those green viruses. Once you're in close range, you can combo to something with even shorter range like Kanae's Hammer or the Roundhouse Sweep or Low Kick to train them up to unlock more weapons. Strongly recommend you do this before you run into Charge 22's raptors. Those are fast and hit hard and come in swarms. To survive you need to have unlocked the heavy stuff like Long Beam Sword, Moonsault Kick, Axe, etc. The nice thing is, if you miss, you still have up to two more tries to get up close again. I agree the damage sucks but you need to train up Katana to 999 to unlock other weapons anyway. Long beam sword is powerful. fast, can be used twice, has long reach and hits through obstacles.

Oh btw, all weapons can be upgraded twice, each time improving it in certain ways. Maxed out katana might be pretty amazing. Good luck!
