Yay~

I finished drawing my entry.

I'm still undecided whether or not to color it. >.<

If I color, it will take around 18 hours.

The story will take around 4 hours.

All estimation if I take into account small breaks.

I drew all this by hand with a pencil. Then, I retraced everything with micron pens. Afterwards, I waited a bit for it to dry. Later, I erased the pencil markings.

My drawing is me as part butterfly and part snake.

I was thinking about bird wings, but a butterfly suits me more. You can consider it fragile, but it's associated with the soul as well.

The snake represents the year I was born according to the Chinese zodiac. Cunning and sleek...

Chopstick hairpieces with small butterflies attached, held by my tail.

The tail took over 4 hours to do each scale individually. D:

About 8 hours to draw and retrace.

I might darken, add some cross-hatching, and little shading later if I want.

I was considering some more cross-hatching and stippling. Would look good if I stick to black and white.

Even if you don't draw well now, you can still consider taking a course in animation.

if you have it you should use it to the best of your abilities

it comes from hard work though..

Hmm drawing take a lot of time... animation majors are basically ready to work immediately upon graduation cuz their work in school is just as much of a pain as it would be in real work situations...
