More human and less animal or more animal and less human. This will indeed change how we judge the pieces. If the balance is good, I have no qualms.

It's as you wrote, pertaining to the overall outlook of the piece... it shall have a different judgmental feel.

In the end, this is Nero's theme. I asked him how it would look like and sent an example... so I went with that.

The example is similar to my drawing.

Mostly human with some animal.

Still, picking an animal can simply be... picking what you like or feel good about drawing.

[MENTION=25364]Decalcomania[/MENTION]. That's the other thing I was thinking. Originally, I had thought this to be contest where people draw half of their human selves and half of an animal, for example a wolfman/werewolf, where the upper body is of a wolf and the lower part is of an animal.

But I think that doesn't add enough variation when compared to making certain parts of your body into those of an animal. When deciding to make certain features of the body into that of animal there has to be enough, not too little. You can decide if there's not enough animal on people's pieces.

[MENTION=26445]Ralium[/MENTION], though it's possible to use multiple animal parts, it's best to stick to less animals, and to a certain extent only one animal so we know what the focus of your drawing is.
