Hongfire offline?

So to for the actual question does anyone know If/where I can still get the HF patch for V 1.31 of Custom maid 3D 2? I kinda doubt it was anywhere else if it was there to start with which I expect it was, I mean it's the hongfire community, we live off this kind of stuff.

You know, I honestly don't mind if we have to start from scratch on HF. Most of us have our comics uploaded to other sites anyway, we just have to re-link them. All we lose is our rep and conversations, which in the long run are less important than the content we all create.

Maybe less of a big deal for me, since this all happened just before my first gold, but I only ever cared about rep for the individual comments from people reading my stuff anyway. It was a great way to encourage feedback from people who might not have otherwise.

No, neither HF nor AS do use HTTPS. But HTTPS has nothing to do with the exploitation of a forum or addon vulnerability (which I suppose was used to take control of HF), it just give you the possibility to not be spied on when you surf on the website.
If you want to make the forum more secure, you have to keep it up to date so that any (known) security issue is patched. But it's difficult as every time you update it, something can break as an unintended consequence.

I don't think so: you get redirected to the http site when you go to the https one. So yeah, if you have Big Brother ISP where you are, then you will probably be spied on your activities -> Use a VPN outside of your country if you want some privacy.

I checked the certificate using this one

But I guess if a website does have an SSL certificate but not using HTTPS then the certificate is pointless...
So does it mean that whenever I log in to HF or AS my ISP can know my password on these sites?
