Ui end is strong, although i would have like Madoka's ending (Her route in the VN was more solidly written, but that is neither here nor there). Well, regardless of which way it swings in the end though, i expect all heroines to get their chance in the spotlight ... which, sadly, includes Koyori, who seems to have been created for the sole purpose of annoying me. Her pesky, intrusive and hyperactive personality really rubs me the wrong way.

As far as Ui goes, i like her a fair deal - a bit of an airhead, but lovable non the less. She certainly seems to be developing affection towards Kazuma at a rapid pace, but that is quite fine in my books - if it means we could possibly get some development on the romance front sooner than the last episode, i am not complaining. Though Kazuma better keep any form of snacks out of his immediate vicinity, else he will have a serious competitor for Ui's undivided attention from the looks of it.

Boring? It's not boring, it's very interesting development as I don't know if the anime goes to Ui or Madoka ending now. And thank god, it has little shouta action this episode.

Gyahaha, who said Ayumu is a zombie? Who did? Give me a "M"! Give me a "A"! Give me a oh hell no don't look at me, just because I kept thinking he's a zombie doesn't mean I actually thought he'd crossdress that was like the biggest flooring moment I've had this season, but when the fe-fi-fo-fum stomping big bro confronted Daigo, and then gave a Roger Ebert thumbs up, I could only put on my classic O_O face and then holler. Seriously... disturbing.

Ayumu is clearly leading the rankings in Kazuma's affection. Not surprised if he: "Sorry girls, but I'm gay and in love with my little brother."

I like FA sch festival more. Highlight of the episode: Madoka with bread.

by far, this is one of the(if not, the) worst school festivals i have ever seen for the past 1-2 years. no impact, no funny moments, no FUN. you get a couple of kyonyuu bishoujos and no service other than the bonucing scenes. kill yourselves will you? wedding dress and suit couple win first and second? that was just plain irritating.

Some things never change - Kazuma, the brocon. As the newest addition in this field, he chooses to go and join his precious little Ayumu in a romantic evening firefly viewing, rather than keep a girl company?

Ui's flashback was so underwhelming. I mean, really now? I can sort of understand where she's coming from but if the root of whatever drama she'll be the focus of comes solely from the fact that her brother got married then I'll really be at a loss for words. What a riveting backstory she's got there >_>. She'll probably still win in the end, being the main girl and all but I'd rather root for Madoka.

I think Kazuma's raised everyone's flag at this point. Not to mention that's a pretty awesome arcade. Besides the usual fare, they've got games for boys and girls. And games filled with double entendres, to say nothing of the Koihime Musou fighting game included. It helps both are under Marvelous, but still. Seeing old faces is always pleasant. That also explains what a Nyanbobo is. Every anime has one of those little mascot thingies.

I can't wait to see what's filled in the blank next week. Next episode the return of the nipples NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Lots of boobs.

Not mentioning the high amount of camera pans for a beach ep I've seen in recent years. Honestly, Ayumu is ruining everything. He is effectively the butt end of Daigo's fantasies, from cosplay to day dreams. And the zombie is popular with the girls, probably more so than Kazuma is. Or at least, the zombie has the better part of the cast of girls. In previous eps we see he's the object of affection of Hina, and now we see he's captured Tsumugi (in Daigo's dream), but even more so now the zombie knows Tsumugi's (secret heh). Let's not forget he's got his own personal escort in Kasane-chan lol. Ayumu is truly the main char in hoshikaka and everyone is Ayumu's harem.

Kazuma truly knows who he is feeling, takes advantage and copes for a longer feel. Don't forget Ayumu's man nipples. ARRRRRRRRRRR MY EYES!

Hina doesn't appeal to me in the original, so she does nothing here also. Hina's GAP MOE doesn't work on me >_>. Her backstory is .... for me (if you can call that backstory).

I totally facepalm when he faceplants into her cleavage and the "cleaning" and walked into room see her nekkid scene. Oppsies! AND AYUMU IN SUMO DIAPERS IS EYE CANCER!

NO! /ME RAGES. So they drop Madoka who has a decent story and whose route actually has a connection to the title of the game, that is just a stupid choice. Ui is so shallow and her reason is too ridiculous. BAH! I sorta want to see a troll ending to make this memorable. ZOMBIE ENDING PLS or the "true" end will be the girls upset about being rejected turn to Ayumu for comfort.

PS: The last scene with the ring floating down the stream is sad.

Ibuki made her move as expected, and the outcome was pretty much as expected as well. She seemed to pick up the hint it wouldn't fly pretty fast, so props to her for dropping the ball quickly and not making it any more awkward than it needed to be for either of them.

I would say Kazuma deserves a nod of appreciation as well for being a good deal more attentive than most male leads out there, manning up and giving a proper response instead of leaving the issue kinda-sorta hanging. At least the guy seems to know what (or who, as the case might be) he wants and doesn't give mixed signals to the others involved when the situations creep up. A decent guy indeed.

As for Ui, I would say it is getting kinda boring hearing the obviously false onii-chan excuse time and time again. Having Ui stumble upon the excuse once (when assaulted by Madoka on the beach) was fine, but having her stick to it a dozen times over makes for a pretty monotone character trait, especially since it can hardly be called an exciting excuse. Watching Ui is like watching paint dry! One more epi, hoping for a zombie end though.

Disturbing thought of the episode - so Ayumu only needs to tell girls he wants to draw them in order to have them stripping ? (Like i said, he is the real main character)

A bit odds... The protagonist just suddenly have his feeling for Ui from no where... There's no pre-development but I'll take it as "censored", the kiss at the end got censored from the TV version too. FUCK! But since it has a proper ending, it earns a general 4/5

That confession is soooooo cheesy. Ayumu has the best end, 3 MILFS! He is going to become a woman killer when he grows up, even Ui stripped for him just for him to draw LooL.

If we put aside the random encounter with kiss at the beginning and some hanging around in the first episodes, nothing that was shown gave away particular hints of a building relationship. It just had to be Ui, that's all of the motivations I've got.

So, a really poor execution. Truth to be told, it's not that Kazuma's interactions with the other girls were much better, except two. With Madoka there was a very poor mixture of shared feelings, emotions, memories and interests. Koyori has been the heroine for 1 episode/1 episode and a half, thus mining her believability as a contender. Tsumugi, who's Tsumugi in Kazuma's eyes other than a smart and mature senpai?
Things went better with Hina, towards whom our protagonist has at least shown some understanding, and white knight attitude. Although in my opinion the best choice for him would have been Ibuki, better chemistry, relevant interactions, mutual understanding, similar characters (both on the active/adventurous side, but also both capable of being thoughtful and well mannered). In facts Ibuki seemed the most struck by the rejection; sure there was also Madoka, but I saw her more as resigned. Ibuki probably also knew she stood little chances towards Ui, but yet she tried because she believed in it, and this is perfectly consistent with her character.

Speaking of consistencies, the last episode lacked some. The whole Megami being replaced at the last moment was pretty lame to say the least, so they missed their chanced to give a proper closure to the series.

Spoiler: final impressions

Honestly, this is your 'Generic Harem'. Nothing special, nothing learned, nothing lost. Moeblob wins, Childhood friend loses, random girls who meets hero loses. No super powers, each girl gets 1-2 episode of content buildup and that's it. No infighting. No Yandere's armed with Knives.

Honestly, a SUPER generic Harem. Honestly, i watched this because of the source material was also quite bad and well the results were the same.

PS: The japanese also don't like the pairing they go with lol.
