Well at the risk of keeping this old thread on top which in turn causes the corruption of innocent minds(and possibly the loss of heterosexuality) I just wanted to share some thoughts to the OP's, moyoyi, question.

Oh yeah but first, if it's alright with moyoyi, this should probably be moved to the hentai section.

Being the lowly, pathetic, H-otaku that I'am(which obviously means I'm a dude). I've occasionally asked this question to a lot of girls(some reacted with violent intentions). And the answers were: yes, some of them do, and yes they are not otakus although they do have a geeky side(everyone has some geekiness in them).

Even though it's embarrasing, I still carried on the coversation(I didn't bring up any odd/extreme fetishes like: homo, tentacle, excrements, etc) and asked them why they like hentai(videos, games, mangas, etc). They said they the enjoyed unexpected romance development between the couple(not just some one-sided or short-lived affair), and most of them said that even though some settings were surreal and fictitious, some were highly plausible, and it's that small ray of hope of achieving their fantasies that turns them on. Artwork's also a major factor(they're picky, but not as demanding as me), which includes women with realistic proportions and guys with sensible tastes and who show that they really do care for the girl(dammit, what about the guy's realistic proportions?!?).

So the answer to your second question is no, it's not strange for women to like(and enjoy) hentai. And with the risk of sounding like a therapist: just keep everything in moderation.

I also wanted to point out that at the first few pages of this thread, that some guy apparetly likes using sex stimulants to their girl. All I can say is that unless you want to be his pet rather than his lover, you'd best avoid those stuff. No offence to those guys who likes to use it on their girl, but really, with enough exercise(healthy living and all that) and practice you'll eventually last as long as her.

Belive or not, the first hentai manga I read, the first hentai anime I watched all of them are not from a male friend but from 2 diffirent otaku girl :| and because of them I have gone to hentai world -__-! As a forever alone male :( I believe problem about modern women is what they are attracted to now. In animals, attractive male features are a physical attribute but in humans the attractive attributes are no longer physical but rather an intangible attribute such as, wealth, power, romance, chivalry, personality and etc. Porn for modern women would require more depth than just the physical appearence or act of sex. Which can explain the horrable literature written for this sole purpose of exciting a female mind. So here is the deal, I am a boy, and i love to watch Hentai, and i am not afraid to say that, if it is Uncensored the Better for me.

As for me, I actually prefer Yaoi, and I am not fond of Yuri. I also like anything well written and otome themed (for games), so that's boy on girl action.
