How to buy digital books outside Japan on Melonbooks in 2025

Hi, there are some digital books I'd like to buy, but since Visa cards have been blocked, it seems impossible to buy them from Melonbooks outside of Japan.

Is there a way to buy them with my account? Or could someone help me get them?

You can try using a proxy shopping service like Zenmarket but I'm unsure if they buy digital goods as I only know they can buy physical goods. Try contacting their customer support

Japanrabbit has support for digital items, but not melonbooks. although I could explain them how rip the doujins themselves, but I am not sure if that is a good idea.

The problem is most people don't know how to rip from MelonBooks and I doubt any proxy service would offers that service.

Most of these cards are Visa cards, and they require purchasing them in person from Japan.

You can also buy melonbooks points, but they can only be recharged from the Japan stores.

The best way I've found is to find someone in Japan and have them buy it for you. lol

Or getting an American Express card.
