Hello, may i ask for system requirements to play Honey Select on VR mode ? is it the same with vr system requirements,or it require more powerful hardware ?
Thanks
Here is the System requirements for VR by google
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 or better.
CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 or greater.
RAM: 8GB or more.
Video port: HDMI 1.3.
USB port: 2 USB 3.0 ports.
Windows 7 SP1 or newer.
What are your system specs on your pc at this very moment? These are spec listed online for minimum/recommended.
GPU:
You would most definitely want at the minimum of
GTX 970 or
R9 290 or better. I would definitely recommend going with NVidia's new 10 series GPU's;
GTX 1060, 1070, 1080 or Titan X. The reason why I would recommend a newer series of GPU Pascal from NVidia is they are more cost effective to their productivity efficiency to the older
Maxwell cards. The
GTX 970, 980, 980ti and
Titan X from the Maxwell Architecture can still get the job done but again, it is still pretty costly for something that is not as good as the newer
Pascal cards with decent cost.
(New)
GTX 970 $340 vs (New)
GTX 1070 $370 or even a
GTX 1060 which is less but no 4k
PSU: Power Supply Unit
(Note): When upgrading you have to make sure you have good power distribution so nothing gets burnt out or dies. So you might have to upgrade your power supply. Usually the least amount of wattage would be 500w but a solid wattage is 650w plus. Again this all depends on your hardware specs.
CPU:
Doesn't necessarily need to be of an i5 4590 or greater. You could go a bit older in generation. I would go somewhere from
Haswell (4th gen), Broadwell (5th gen), Skylake (6th gen). Just go with at least an i5 or i7, more cores equals better workload distribution. No need for K versions unless you plan overclocking but it is not needed.
RAM:
8GB of DDR3 would be the minimum. If you can, I would go for 16GB of DDR3 for cost purposes or even 12GB but, if you can, go with the newer DDR4 sticks. You just have to make sure your board can accept the newer sticks.
PORTS:
Well, if you have a nice card and depending on your VR device. Display port or HDMI will suffice. Display port is usually a better choice but HDMI is ok unless you are also going 4k, then it's display port all the way.
OS:
Newer the OS the better, less issues to run into when using applications. Win10 is getting better and better, more compatibility xpacks plus I think a lot of people benefited from the free upgrades last year. I am sure if you are still using an older OS it wouldn't be too hard to find someone uploaded a backed up copy of the free Win10 OS from last year. Win7 is still nice,
FUCK Win8 or 8.1
USB Ports:
Well pretty much all the new motherboards that are decent to really good have plenty of 3.0 ports and even 3.1. You can still find some older boards from a couple years back that support 3.0 with several, I have seen some z97 boards that could work that are not too expensive but some might support a higher gen i5/i7 past 5th or DDR4 RAM.
