Oh ok, i'm not really sure but if you moved the files correctly that could be a conflict between two mods, or because the mods is made with a 9digit slot. *snip*

You can try that *snip* to see your mods list and find any conflict.

Please re-confirm me, you can apply a mod (costume mod(s) in particular) by simply copying them to their respective folders right?

I've been trying to tweak around with HS_SlotID but still can't get it to work somehow, even though I followed the instructions. With the exception of skipping translation part.

Try adding the path to your game in the HS_SlotID.ini. That may help to get it working. like D:\Games\Honey Select or whatever it is.

Most of the time you have 2 folders, "chara" & "list" :


abdata > chara > (folder with the name of the modder and with mod files inside)

abdata > list > characustom > (file who make the mod visible on the charamaker list)

(the folder with the name of the modder can be directly at the roots of abdata sometimes)


Some modders don't pack their mods like that and you have to copy the folders in the right places yourself.

For exemple if the "list" folder is in the right place but not the "chara" folder, you will see the mod on the list, but it will not be visible if selected.

I remember Artificial Academy and a few other Illusion games used to have step by step installation guides, listing everything I should download, how I should install it and the right order to install stuff. I haven't found one for Honey Select yet... Is there such guide? I'm really lost here.

I think I have got the game to work, but I know there's still a lot of stuff I need to install. I already got the patch.

One last thing. When I run the InitSetting, if I try to change my resolution, the program simply stops working and shuts down.

Try adding the path to your game in the HS_SlotID.ini. That may help to get it working. like D:\Games\Honey Select or whatever it is.

Oh, I missed that part. I thought I have to set everything up from inside the exe.

I know Studio Neo has a lot of new poses/animations, but I just want more... before trying HS I used to play 3D Custom Girl, and what I like the most is that it has a lot of cool and sexy poses for the scenes...

Hi guys, i wonder if someone can help me with this weird problem: doesn't matter what graphic quality i choose in studio NEO (tried in both launchers, the original and the translated) the game always works in min quality. Standard studio and the game itself can be played in max with no problems, so im really confused.

Hey Guys! So HS was working fine for me but today when I open the game only the top bar with the minimize, maximize and close buttons show up and the game does load but there is sound.

Does anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it?

There's no step-by-step installation guide so far. You can check HS pastebin: https://pastebin.com/Z9kkjDjT for list of updates. It's under [Torrent Downloads] and [Updates & Downloadable Content]. They are posted in order of release date from the oldest first.

Most likely you don't have .NET framework installed.

just use the ini screen to set resolution and then close it and then open the game as you normally do with the honeyselect_64.exe etc

Hello I have a question about studio neo IK and FK poses.
1. I load some kind of pose
2. In IK Push reference
3 I edit pose with IK morph
3. I push mirror FK
4. select FK to edit pose (select function thingy )
5. Poses changes to default. (which shouldnt happen). I saw how people eit sucefully posses in same way in youtube. Anyone has any ideas ?

Attaching items to characters, you must attach them to the correct limb, though it won't help much when the item itself needs correction. For item-to-item parenting you can just parent them all to a main piece and do fine. Note however, that disabling the parent will disable the whole thing...not good when you need a particular portion turned off (e.g. room walls). A work-around is to use a sphere item with opacity in color set to 0, rendering it effectively invisible, and use it as parent.

The parent option itself is greyed out. Do you need to drag and drop items or something?

Hold Ctrl while selecting items on the workspace. Select the parent object first (this is important, the first object selected in a sequence will be the parent), then select all the objects you want parented. Once you are done with selecting, hit the green parent button at the bottom of workspace. Your selection will fall into the parent item. Click on the newly appeared arrow to break it down. For a character, you need to breakdown the character's selection (click on the arrow)into body parts and their sub-parts first to choose them to be parent.

You can put objects into folders by adding a folder from the workspace, then use the folder to be the parent, and name the folder via the Anim tab. This helps with organization.

Spoiler: optional

A few things to keep in mind:
1. Despite being parented, the child objects will not scale with the parent if you need to scale up or down. You'll need to scale the individual components manually.
2. Same as the scaling, the child items can be individually moved. This may help or hinder your work.
3. Characters cannot be made child to another object, nor can they be put into folders.
4. Folders cannot be made child objects.
5. You can parent another parent object.

Regarding threesomes, is it possible to switch the roles during the H scenes? (e. g. Girl 1 takes the position of Girl 2 and vice versa)

I haven't found an option for that one. If I missed it I would appreciate any help very much.

Don't mount the ISOs. Use 7-Zip or something like that, extract the ISO or .exes in the case of updates, then just take the stuff in the "Setup" folders out and place them in a new file. No need to actually install this game.
