Lol. Some didn't like AiR and some liked it.

Overall, most would pick Clannad if they were given a choice of what anime they liked originally by Key.

I would still recommend it though.

Tori no Uta by Lia is practically Japan's anthem. Haha~

Don't forget to pay homage to Tomoko Kawakami when you watch it. She does the voice for Misuzu, the main female protagonist. She passed away last year.

Just talking about AiR.


All of Key's works have sadness with funny moments. It's just Clannad was well done compared to AiR since it followed the VN closely and had more episodes to explain and expand the storyline.

Kanon 2002 was decent, but its remake, Kanon 2006, was definitely better. The storyline flowed and the animation was more pleasing to the eye.

I believe I will when I watch it. Bloodhorn has often suggested I watch the anime made by Key. He's quite the Key lover I believe~

And sad stories do get to me quite easily, so I think I'll enjoy it. ^^

I just find Key characters looking a bit weird. I prefer the way the characters in Clannad look in the anime compared to the VN counterpart.

Lol, Bloodhorn is a Key lover.

The drawings from the VN are vastly different when adapted to anime. Even in the anime, it might put off some people. Still, like I mentioned, Key always delivers on the story.
